Producer Eiji Aonuma confirmed on Tuesday that Nintendo will release a limited-edition Triforce Nintendo 3DS XL and Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds game bundle in North America.
The bundle will ship in North America on November 22, the same day that the standalone game ships. The gold-colored 3DS XL (known as 3DS LL in Japan) will then debut in Japan on December 26 for 22,800 yen (about US$230).
The new Zelda game will be set in the same world as A Link to the Past, but it will take advantage of the 3D screen of the Nintendo 3DS to give players a better sense of a dungeon or maze's multiple levels in three dimensions. It will also let players put their hero Link in 2D "Paper" mode to slide along walls and around obstacles.

Japan is also getting two limited edition 3DS XL systems in orange and turquoise. Both will be released on November 28 and retail for 19,900 yen (US$200).
