David Hayter Teases Dubbing of Metal Gear Solid's Snake Again
posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Voice actor and screenwriter David Hayter teased on his official Twitter account on Monday that he is dubbing the character of Solid Snake again. He posted a segment from an overdubbing script that shows lines from Snake and Colonel Campbell, and tagged fellow Metal Gear Solid voice actor Paul Eiding, who voiced Colonel Campbell in the games.
Hayter provided the voice for Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series of stealth action games, and voiced the character Naked Snake in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as well as Portable Ops and Peace Walker. He also voiced Solid Snake in the character's appearance in Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Brawl game. He did not return to voice the character in Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, with Kiefer Sutherland replacing him in the role.
