Frozen's 'Let it Go' Ranks in Top Karaoke AniSongs for 1st Half of 2014

Karaoke giant JOYSOUND announced the top 20 anime songs sung by fans for the first half of 2014. Both "Cruel Angel's Thesis" and "Guren no Yamiya" have held their position as #1 and #2 since last year, while other songs moved up in the ranks or are appearing for the first time.
Breaking in at #5 is Frozen's "Let it Go." The theme for the Oscar-winning picture has sold like hotcakes in Japan.
Here's what people are singing their hearts out to in the karaoke bars:

JOYSOUND also ranked top Vocaloid and J-Pop choices. The overall most karaoked song is AKB48's "Koi Suru Fortune Cookie" track which inspired promotional prefecture videos across Japan. Anisongs "Cruel Angel's Thesis" and "Guren no Yumiya" were #4 and #5 in overall rankings, respectively, while "Let it Go" was #21.
Lastly, the most chosen international (not Japanese) track was Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together."
