posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
The official Twitter account for the One Piece franchise revealed on Sunday that Keiji Fujiwara (Fullmetal Alchemist's Maes Hughes, Hunter × Hunter's Leorio) will voice the new character Ryokugyū, a new Admiral in the Marines, in the anime. The character will appear in the new episode airing on Sunday.
The Twitter account had announced last week that Ryōtarō Okiayu is the new voice of another Admiral character, Kizaru, in the anime after Unshō Ishizuka passed away last August. The character appears in the anime's 881st episode, which aired last Sunday. Okiayu previously also voiced the character Kaku in One Piece.
The One Piece anime recently entered the new Reverie Arc, after finishing the "Whole Cake Island" arc that premiered in April 2017. One Piece is getting a new film in the franchise titled One Piece Stampede on August 9 to commemorate the TV anime's 20th anniversary.
