Great movie! (Referring to Words Bubble Up) I feel like it ought to be included in any anime film recommendation list, at least for those looking for something light and feel-good. I think the bright and colorful art style and the haiku element weaved throughout the story gave it a nice extra spice to stand out.

Ishiguro Kyōhei, the director of the Cider no Yō ni Kotoba ga Wakiagaru anime film, has talked about haiku in the anime film. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMzkJXlkciw In the video, he has also talked about the anime film's title as a haiku. By the way, in the video, on the shelves, you can see manga such as Dragon Ball, Asahinagu, Jūhan Shuttai!, Tsurumoku Dokushinryō, and so on. |
