Would like to see this one get a 2nd season so we can see the end of the story. Thing is, I've heard that the anime deviated from the manga during it's run. Haven't looked into where it deviated from and what changes the story went through due to this, but it does make it seem like it'd be unlikely we'd see a 2nd season.
At the end of it all...the thing I was most interested in was seeing the relationship development between Uka-sama and Touka. Don't think we'll see the manga of this one licensed either. But, if it were picked up, I'd end up buying it.

I agree, the story was good as far as it goes. But it felt like you could make a whole other season with Uka-sama and Touka. spoiler[After all, he could see her from the beginning (without having taken any of her power).] |

I don't know either but I would bet good money that it was the ending. It seemed to be tagged on there only to give it a season finale, and I felt it didn't really fit the rest of the show. |

Yep, some things left unexplained with Uka-sama and Touka. I do think that it was obvious that spoiler[there were feelings being developed between them. And, we have no idea why Touka could always see Uka.] Though, not being the MCs of the series, it's not surprising that things were wrapped up for those 2. In saying that, they did kind of become the reason that I continued to watch this series. I did enjoy the MCs and their story, but I wanted to see more of Uka and Touka as the anime went on. Unfortunately, didn't get too much more of them in the closing episodes.
Yeah. While I don't really find the ending to be sad, it did seem strange. I remember getting to the end and I said, "That's it? That's where they're ending it?" But, after posting here I decided to have a look at discussion on the manga. It seems that spoiler[something similar to the anime's end does happen. But, of course, that isn't where the manga ended.] Thing is, haven't found exactly where things were meant to have deviated from the manga... |
