NisiOisin to Print Monogatari's 2nd 'Off Season' Book in 2016

Orokamonogatari, the first light novel volume in the "Off Season" of NisiOisin's Monogatari Series, is announcing on Tuesday that the second Off Season volume (titled Wazamonogatari) will ship next year.
The Monogatari Series of light novels inspired a string of anime projects from director Akiyuki Simbo and the studio SHAFT, including the ongoing Owarimonogatari television series and the upcoming Kizumonogatari film trilogy. The last light novel volume in Monogatari Series' "Final Season" had shipped last September with a teaser page for the "next season."
NisiOisin's Katanagatari novel project also inspired a television anime series, and his Medaka Box manga with artist Akira Akatsuki spawned two television anime seasons. He collaborated with artist Hikaru Nakamura (Saint Young Men, Arakawa Under the Bridge) on the Jūni Taisen (12 Wars) novel that Shueisha published in May. NisiOisin's Okitegami Kyōko no Bibōroku (The Notebook of Kyōko Okitegami) is inspiring a live-action television series and manga series this fall.
Vertical will publish the Kizumonogatari light novel in North America in November. Aniplex of America is releasing the anime adaptations of the Monogatari Series in North America.
