Despite some effectively moving moments and strong production values throughout, this revamp of Go Nagai's tale is as dark, nasty, nihilistic, ultra-violent, raunchy, and over-the-top as you would expect. It's depressing as well; the body count is very high in this show and there are some very gruesome deaths throughout. I personally don't like sitting through such stuff. |
