Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV) Masterpiece Wow. What an anime. This isnt an anime that should be seen once, but multiple times in order to remotely understand the underlying meanings. Story kept a tight grip onto you, from beginnning to end, and never once let go. Every episode interweaved with each other, though it felt as if from episodes 9-12, all EVAs were doing was constant hack-and-slash repitiveness. Ending was a big "wtf?", but thats why there is an alternate ending.
Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth (movie) Excellent A more stylistic rehash or recap of the twenty four episodes.
Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion (movie) Masterpiece This is how you create an ending. All other anime endings should be modeled to this caliber. The progression from tranquility (if any at all) to utter chaos was quick, and continued until the destruction of Earth. Peace was finally let up, as all we are seen left is Shinji and Asuka, with the responsibility to respawn their kind on Earth agian. I wish I had more hands, so I could give this four thumbs up.
Pilot Candidate (TV) So-so
(The) Prince of Tennis (TV) Excellent An anime that appealed to me because the basis of tennis. Matches were repetitive from time to time, and filler and chibi episodes were a bit waste of story, though funny. One qualm I have is with the ending, as it felt as if all loose ends were tied up rapidly, giving the impression that the ending was rushed. It also left me wondering "wtf?", but what anime doesnt do that from time to time? All in all, very rewarding and good, so if you have lots of spare time, watch this.
