Anime titles that I would always love and recommend, regardless of the series' age. They're just that good!

Top 10 All-Time Anime Titles Rating Comment
Azumanga Daioh (TV) Masterpiece (This has so many fun/cute/nostalgic aspects that I will always want to go back and re-watch the series. And I will always be sad when I get to the end of the series. There are some really touching moments. And guess what? There's no romances at all in this series! And it's still awesome!)
Baccano! (TV) Masterpiece
Black Lagoon (TV) Excellent (sub), Masterpiece (dub)
Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage (TV) Excellent (sub), Masterpiece (dub)
Gungrave (TV) Masterpiece (A deep, deep series. It focuses around the ideas of family, loyalty, and trust. )
Master Keaton (TV) Masterpiece (I cannot recommend this series enough. And this goes for the OVA series as well. It's pretty episodic, but it presents a lot of different issues -- some light, some dark -- while succeeding in keeping a light tone. It's the bright tone that makes this series so much more enjoyable to watch than Monster (although I do love that series as well).)
Mushi-Shi (TV) Masterpiece (dub & sub)
Popotan (TV) Masterpiece (There's a lot of gratuitous nudity, but that's not why it's on my list. It's on my list because it deals with some pretty tough issues. I personally love the art style.)
Princess Tutu (TV) Masterpiece
Voices of a Distant Star (OAV) Masterpiece (Makoto Shinkai's first work and I would say his greatest one (so far). Short and sweet, and yet conveying perfectly the idea of love being torn apart, or something like that.)
Yakitate!! Japan (TV) Masterpiece (This is super enjoyable. Like Master Keaton, I can't recommend this series enough. Not because of its deep issues (I don't think it has many, or any), but because of its sheer fun-ness. It's a cooking show that focuses around bread. You know what that means... lots of addictive competitions, and mouth-watering bread creations. Honestly, I had more appreciation for bread after watching this series.)
