| Angelic Layer (TV) | Masterpiece | A delightful surprise. There was much more to this series than what I initially thought it would be. Each episode was gripping and flowed well into the next. Plenty of character development drove the series without being overbearing. |

It isn't even a boring show. It's just one disappointment after another. It's amazing that this was slated for a second season when the first season had yet to be released. This series has proven that it's actually possible to get worse with each episode. |
| Zakuro (TV) | Very good | Aside from being stereotypical and slightly predictable, the series was pretty good. It wasn't the best show I've ever seen, but it certainly wasn't the worse. Zakuro sticks with you for a while after you've watched it and at least provides closure unlike other titles in its genre. |
| (The) Big O (TV) | Excellent | I really had a lot of reservations about watching this since I did not care for the animation style at all. Aside from being episodic and predictable, it wasn't bad at all. Then again, you have to skip over the opening and ending themes, avoiding them at ALL COSTS. The voice acting wasn't terrible and the whole feature had a film noir quality about it. Not my favorite anime by any means, but definitely worth giving a shot. Second season was much better than the first. |
| Cardcaptor Sakura (TV) | Masterpiece | My favorite series of all time. CLAMP doesn't disappoint! While the series may look like a children's show, some of the underlying themes are anything but "for kids". Each time I watch it, I feel that same love for the series that I felt the very first time through and I think I catch something new every time. Charming and inspiring, it proves that you can't judge a book by its cover. |
| A Certain Magical Index (TV) | Worst ever | Quite possibly the worst anime I have ever seen. It started off with a good concept and interesting premise of magic and science co-existing and even through in some religious motifs to spice things up. Then, around episode 8, things just completely fell apart. The focus shifted from one character to another from episode to episode, completely destroying the flow and pacing of the series. |
| Nyan Koi! (TV) | Decent | Started off great and then just didn't deliver. While it was definitely amusing, it didn't go far enough with the cat stuff or even end with who he chose. From what I can tell, there's gonna be a second season, but I don't really see how much more they could do with this series. Good to watch if you're bored and want some fan service and comedy, but not really great either. |
