| True Cooking Master Boy (TV) | Bad | A serious disappointment compared to the original. There's almost no emphasis on showing the cooking (relying on short abstract imagery instead of showing action in context), the pacing is too fast and leaves little time to explain plot points or build up significant drama, the artists put highlights and bloom on everyone even when they're inside a dark building, and the music and sound effects are bland modern versions that lack the unique Chinese style that made the original so appealing. |
