This was thoroughly enjoyable to watch, but hard to classify. You could call it action because of the gunfights and whatnot, but it /feels/ to relaxed for that. You could call it a kid's show because of the animation style but the naked women and blatent innuendo (not to mention the lack of anything silly) will quickly make you change your mind. The only genre I can see it fitting is 'western', and it does that well. |

It seemed like it was such a terrible show it was actually... Well, interesting at least. Since it was so without ANYthing resembling a plot it wasn't filled with cliches that woulda bugged the hell out of me. The fanservice was annoying, but they NEVER drew attention to it (verbally and through actions) so it was okay, it's only when you've got guys blushing over every pany-shot and boob jiggle that it gets really annoying. Also IMHO the crazy blood-lusting characters were actually depicted fairly well.
The kanji flashing accross the screen every single time someone was introduced gets very annoying very quickly though. >.< Overall Kenichi is better, and the 'school life' part of this show seems non-existant.

I really liked the second story a LOT. :) The third... A bit emo, but still enjoyable? Altogether it was just lovely, I can see why it's such a beloved movie! <3

It's a fantastic show that is very enjoyable, probably my second-fave shoujo ever and definitely one of my fave heroines in any show. |
