I seen some of these animes, and most of them I just won't finish them. But for some I might watch them again.

Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan (TV)	Decent	It was ok I guess, I think I like more seriousness in animes.
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (TV)	Good	Saw the English dub, found it funny to the style of Samurai Pizza Cats.
Bounty Dog (OAV)	Bad	Watching this show for 15 minutes is enough to call this OVA a piece of shit.
Demon Lord Dante (TV)	So-so	It's not bad, but the show didn't grab my attention. I won't watch the rest of it.
Demon Prince Enma (OAV)	So-so	I watched about two or three episodes of it and I lost interest.
Dojin Work (TV)	Good	Not my taste, but not bad for the newer anime fans (and you learn a thing or two about fan-made comics).
Excel Saga (TV)	Decent	Too random for my taste.
FLCL (OAV)	Good	Very confusing OAV to watch, but nice animations (despite using computers, prefer hand-draw).
GaoGaiGar: King of Braves (TV)	Good	Good show, just a little long for my taste.
(The) Girl Who Leapt Through Time (movie)	So-so	A good movie, but I didn't have interest in watching it. Might finish it at a later date, but that's unlikely.
Gundress (movie)	Weak	After 15 minutes I stop watching. Story was uninterested and the animation quality was terrible.
Guyver (OAV)	Good	Good stuff, well the first six episodes that is. Great animation, interesting story, and good battle acts. Episode 7 and beyond I didn't finish it because the story (a continuation of the six episodes) wasn't that great, and the animation went down to the toilet (seriously, well the other episodes were made a few years after the first six episodes). I will buy the DVD, just Volume 1 only (the first six episodes).
Iczer-One (OAV)	So-so	Watched a little of it, then got bored.
Legend of the Mystical Ninja (TV)	So-so	Note for me: Do your research and don't spend $50 on a box DVD set.
Megazone 23 Part III (OAV)	So-so	The biggest problem with Part III is that it's so different that it made me stop watching it. The series should been finish after Part II. It's interesting how Part III is, but I don't know. Not the same as the other two Parts. I purchase the Megazone 23 Complete Collection and to me Parts I and II are good. It's a good OVA series (first popular OVA), it just I was a little disappointed because I thought it could been better. I like OVAs don't get me wrong, but I think Megazone 23 is a little overhyped.
(The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV)	So-so	I don't understand why this show is popular. Different episode order on TV and on DVD releases!!?? I found it confusing.
Mobile Suit Gundam 00 (TV)	So-so	After watching three episodes of it I decide to stop watching it. It needs more Gundams with less politics. I like politics, but the Gundam series is more known for GUNDAMS!
New Cutey Honey (OAV)	Weak	It's just not a fun show to watch. I would avoid it at all cost.
Ninja Resurrection (OAV)	Weak	Very uninterested, stop watching the first OVA after 30 minutes. Personally it was a waste of time.
Now and Then, Here and There (TV)	So-so	After watching the second episode I stop watching. It didn't grab my attention.
Orphen (TV)	Good	Not bad, but I might watch it again at a later date.
RIN ~Daughters of Mnemosyne~ (OAV)	Decent	It good, but some parts just make me want to puke. Not my style, a shame.
Rosario + Vampire (TV)	Weak	I didn't like it. I know better stuff than this.
Ryoko's Case File (TV)	So-so	Watched little of it, I thought it was so-so.
Saber Marionette R (OAV)	So-so	Saw little of it, no interest to me.
Serial Experiments Lain (TV)	Good	A little slow for me, but interesting never the less.
Sonic Soldier Borgman: Last Battle (OAV)	So-so	No wonder I didn't understand anything, you must watch the TV series before this.
Space Pirate Captain Harlock (TV)	Good	I put this on hold for now. It's good, just I stop watching TV series for now (and just stick to OVAs and movies for my anime).
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Legend of the Supermutants (OAV)	Weak	Gave me a headache after a few minutes.
Transformers: Armada (TV)	Good	I thought it was ok.
Twin Signal (OAV)	So-so	Another show which I lost interest in watching.
Tytania (TV)	Decent	Created by the same staff from Legend of the Galactic Heroes Tytania doesn't even hold a candle to the famous OVA series. I kind-of found it to be a time-waster with some terrible animation at times and not so good looking CGI. I'll stick to LOGH.
Viper's Creed (TV)		Cool show which makes me feel like a man, but just doesn't have a hook to keep me watching more of it.
Yu Yu Hakusho: Ghost Files (TV)	Good	I wish it was on Adult Swim (very disappointed when it moved to Toonami).
Yukikaze (OAV)	So-so	I try to like the show but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll try the show again some day.

All these animes under seen all have been watched in full with my ratings and mostly short comments. I'm harsh giving out the Masterpiece and Excellent ratings. I watch mostly movies and OVAs (not too big on TV series, but I still watch them). I watch mostly the 80s to early 90s OVAs since those are my favorite time in anime. I don't watch the newer stuff most of the time, but time to time I'll watch a show that's still being aired in Japan (Viper's Creed).

Well I hope you enjoy reading my comments, as you can tell I watch plenty of obscure movies and OVAs out there. I bet most of the titles in this list you ever heard of them before.

2001 Ya Monogatari (OAV)	Very good	Very similar to the famous film 2001: A Space Odyssey in an artistic sense and homages, Space Fantasia 2001 Nights explains the deal of humans quest to spread to out of space. Only one hour long, but it's worth a look.
5 Centimeters Per Second (movie)	Excellent	I loved the film, which was a big surprise since I thought I wasn't going to like it that much. Makoto Shinkai did a really good job with this film. My only gripe was the last story arc was too short (or I can say that the film was a little short for my taste). After I watched it I purchase the DVD from Right Stuf. I would recommend buy the DVD ASAP if you love the film since it's out of print and it looks like no one is going to do a reprint of it (and it will also become rare in the future).
801 T.T.S. Airbats (OAV)	Very good	The usual love triangle and anime comedy is included with this short OVA series. If you like military stuff (I love aircrafts), this one is for you. Be careful on one thing: The show is more character based than the planes (but it's still good, trust me on this).
AD Police Files (OAV)	Good	It's entertaining, bloodier than a TV series and movie, and nice art. Don't expect the best plot wise, but it's like a regular OVA for its time. If you like OVAs this one is for you.
Afro Samurai (TV)	Good	The story is ok, but good animation, and a good dub (Samuel L Jackson anyone?) makes this one a good while.
Ai no Kusabi (OAV)	Excellent	I'm not a fan of Yaoi at all (well I'm a guy after all :P), but the storytelling in Ai no Kusabi is pretty amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who don't mind homosexual relationships.
Akira (movie)	Very good	Story was a little confusing, but wonderful animations. The bike scene at the beginning of the movie is my favorite part. See it at least once.
Angel Cop (OAV)	Weak	Pretty weak. First episode has the best animation, but after that it went down hill. Terrible English dub. What the hell Ichiro Itano was thinking creating this POS? I must admit there was some action part, but other than that, crap.
Angel's Egg (movie)	Very good	It's hard to explain what's Angel's Egg. There's really no story involved, and it's more on the lines of an indie film. If you're a fan of film this is a good movie to watch. For anime fans this is most likely not for you.
Apocalypse Zero (OAV)	Awful	Why Media Blasters brought this to the US? It's like the person who created this was thinking about penises all day and night.
Appleseed (OAV)	Good	Compare to the later movies the backgrounds of this OVA make it look like the story takes place in the early 2000s. What I mean is that the later movies it looks like it took place in the future, in this OVA it looks like it could be a city of today. Good OVA, not a time waster, but I do prefer the later movies for story.
Appleseed (movie)	Very good	Good CG graphics. Not really a fan of computer animated works, but the story was good and it was fun to watch. Will see the sequel sooner or later. Actually I should see the 1988 OVA first.
Appleseed: Ex Machina (movie)	Good	I like the 2004 movie better than this sequel, but the CG animation is better at least.
Arcadia of My Youth (movie)	Excellent	Wonderful movie. Like Matsumoto go see this movie.
Area 88 (OAV)	Excellent	Great war OVA. One of my favorites. The ADV dub is excellent.
Arion (movie)	Excellent	The guys behind Crusher Joe strikes again. Good story, good action, good hand-draw animation. Couldn't ask for more.
Ashita no Joe (movie)	Excellent	Except for the fact I though it was a little bit too long the movie is a huge classic in my eyes. I love the art style used in the movie and when watching the movie you can't look away. A great purchase!
Assemble Insert (OAV)	Good	The Patlabor reference at the first episode, listen carefully. That's all.
Ayane's High Kick (OAV)	Good	Pretty good kickboxing OVA. Good English dub.
Bakuen Campus Guardress (OAV)	Excellent	Bakuen Campus Guardress is one of those OVAs that works so well with the laughs and the seriousness all in one package. The show can be serious when it wants to and yet it can do a 180 and create many laughs for all of us remember. For some reason when watching this OVA it reminds me a little of Demon City Shinjuku, but in a very comical sense. A must see.
BAOH (OAV)	Decent	OK one, but the manga is better and it makes more sense.
Bartender (TV)	Excellent	Bartender is one of the few newer animes that impressed the hell of me. While by reading at my reviews I'm not the biggest fan of newer animes since many of the newer shows are full of fan service or too "cute." Bartender shows that cocktails and spirits are more than just "drinks to get drunk." It's the history of the drinks that helps the people who drink them get thru their daily lives. The way the story was told, and the smoothness of the narrator makes Bartender one of the few animes that's many anime fans won't know and will not care about it. If you drink this series will really get you into your soul. I couldn't get off my seat when watching Bartender and it was made for adults and not the usual Anime crowd. I said to myself that I won't drink when I get older but after seeing the series I might just drink Cocktails when I get older, but only a few.
Battle Angel (OAV)	Good	Another good short OVA series. Don't expect the best, but it won't disappoint.
Battle Royal High School (OAV)	Weak	I finally rewatched it (via AnimEigo's Laserdisc) and my opinion of the show didn't change. It's still not a good piece of work and there's much better OVAs out there than this.
Big Wars (movie)	Decent	Good animation, sub-par story and it's too short.
Birdy the Mighty (OAV)	Good	Well it doesn't look like something that Kawajiri would usually directs but he did direct this OVA series. Pretty cool one, not the greatest, but cool.
Birth (OAV)	Good	The animation aged very well (with many great animation sequences). A lot of action and interesting humor. My two major complaints with Birth was the plot (confusing for a good bit) and the ending. Just see it more for the imagery and for the action.
Black Jack The Movie	Good	Good little flick with a good English special. Just noting special to make this title worthwhile.
Black Lagoon (TV)	Good	Good but not great. I believe it has a little too much hype.
Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage (TV)	Good	Same as the first season.
Black Lion (OAV)	Good	People will hate it for its violence, but it has a cool story and it was entertaining (like all short OVAs should do). If you see it watch it in Japanese.
Black Magic M-66 (OAV)	Excellent	One of my favorite OVAs. Great English dub. If you like short OVAs this is the one to see.
Blood Reign: Curse of the Yoma (OAV)	So-so	Very boring OVA in my opinion.
Blue Sonnet (OAV)	Decent	Decent OVA series. Just another run of the mill early 90 OVA, but it had its moments.
Bobby's Girl (movie)	Very good	Not for everyone. Old-school anime fans will love this. The last minutes of this OVA was beautiful animation wise.
Bubblegum Crash (OAV)	Good	Different staff cause some things in the story to change, but it's all not that bad. Still got action, and it's kind-of a finisher to Bubblegum Crisis. Not all will like this OVA, but hey it's not that bad I guess.
Bubblegum Crisis (OAV)	Excellent	The music is the greatest thing ever in BGC. The songs are great, tons of action, and all the characters are likable! I love this series so much and it sucks that it was never completed (after the fallout of Youmex and Artmix/AIC the series stopped). Of course there's the ok follow up Bubblegum Crash which was good, but not great. I own all of them on DVD but I'm getting the AnimEigo Laserdisc releases sooner or later.
Burn Up! (OAV)	Weak	It tries to be sexy, it tries to be funny, and it tries to be a good action OVA. Problem: Burn Up fails at all levels. Worse that I purchase the DVD that was bundled with Plastic Little. A completely waste of time here folks.
Call Me Tonight (OAV)	Good	Cool idea, a guy who thinks of sex turns into a monster! Actually I found this to be a funny concept and it's a nice enjoyable OVA.
Cannon Fodder (movie)	Very good	Part of Memories
Claymore (TV)	Very good	Not too shabby storyline, good animation/art, and good action. Keep me entertain at least.
Cleopatra DC (OAV)	Good	Cleopatra DC has it own style of being "cramp." Things that are impossible in the real world yet in the world of this anime one young lady controls a good part of the world. Cleo is like the female version of James Bonds, but she only does things for her self-interest, and for helping out people. Don't take it too seriously and you'll enjoy this 80s OVA.
Cobra The Animation: The Psychogun (OAV)	Very good	Cobra is back and he's still good as always. I found the CGI to be weird at certain moments but damn it's still Cobra and it's full of good 80s moments. Can't wait for the second OVA series and the new TV series.
(The) Cockpit (OAV)	Excellent	Excellent three episode OVA series. It's hard to explain, you better want to look at it. Matsumoto art style.
Compiler (OAV)	Good	Good dub from ADV Films for starters. Pretty random. :P
Compiler 2 (OAV)	Good	A little more serious than the first OVA episodes, but I like this one a little better. Interesting, didn't lose my time.
Cowboy Bebop (TV)	Excellent	Wonderful story with great music.
Crimson Wolf (OAV)	Very good	Slightly confusing story, but has a good English dub, good animation, and it's flat out awesome! I got this for $3 off Amazon complete with its case. Good stuff!
Crusher Joe: The Movie	Excellent	If you love anime you must watch Crusher Joe. Great English dub, and the most important part: It was a fun two-hour movie. They don't make anime like this anymore.
Crusher Joe: The OVA's	Good	Not bad for extra adventures of the Crusher team.
Crystal Triangle (OAV)	Awful	Terrible, from the people who did Roots Search (which was also terrible). It could been a great, but it just didn't work out in the end. And why CPM brought this to the US I will never know.
Cyber City Oedo 808 (OAV)	Very good	How many Yoshiaki Kawajiri titles has "City" on them? Anyway what you have right here is a pretty damn good three episode OVA series. The Manga dub is in the same quality as Angel Cop and Mad Bull 34, but better (still has a lot of cursing like those series). Another great work from Yoshiaki Kawajiri and this OVA series is highly recommended!
Cybernetics Guardian (OAV)	Decent	I'm a fan of Koichi Ohata (director of MD Geist), but this one was kind-of boring. Decent, but not great.
Daicon films (special)	Masterpiece	The beginning of Gainax, what anime fans can do with a camera. A must see for any anime fan.
Dangaioh (OAV)	Good	A nice simple OVA about four people with ESP coming together to pilot the Dangaioh. Good old-school OVA, just the way I like it.
Dark Cat (movie)	Very good	I don't think this is a movie, it looks more like a OVA. It has action, two short stories that combine into one at the end, and not too bad animation. Don't expect a killer hit, but if you grade it as an OVA it's pretty damn good. I would recommend it.
Delinquent in Drag (OAV)	Good	Off the wall funny as hell. Some of the more crazy moments in anime humor is right here in this OVA. I wish they had done one or two more episodes to finish up the story.
Demon City Shinjuku (OAV)	Very good	Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Ninja Scroll) is a pretty good director. He also shines here.
Detonator Orgun (OAV)	Excellent	I should had brought this sooner, because it's one hell of a OVA. Action, animation, story, all great in Detonator Orgun. Watching it brings up many happy moments (happy moments = otaku moments, hehe). And the best part that you can get it new for around $7. What the hell you are waiting for, BUY IT!
Detroit Metal City (OAV)	Excellent	11 RAPES IN A MINUTE! RAPE, RAPE, RAPE, RAPE, RAPE, RAPE, RAPE, RAPE, RAPE, RAPE, RAPE!!!!!!!!! Actually this OVA is excellent and it's so fucking great. The only thing I hate about it is the Detroit Moe City segment (I hate moe). Noting but RAPE, RAPE, AND MORE RAPE!
Devil Hunter Yohko (OAV)	Decent	This is for the first OVA only (the reason why this is not going under Seen some is that ADV Films advertise this as an short film on the Laserdisc release). Ok cute girl who loves boys but can't have sex with monsters who want her dead. Sounds interesting and it is interesting. I did laugh at a few bits (when Yohko thought it was cool when she was in her outfit and stuff like that). By no means it was bad, just it wasn't that great. Then again the guys at ADV at the time when they licence their first show ever (which was this) said they wanted something that wasn't brought to the US that was different. After getting close to seeing 200 different animes I guess it didn't left me with the same impression as it did many years ago. At least the LD art was cool.
Dirty Pair Flight 005 Conspiracy (OAV)	Good	A good one with a good Streamline dub, do recommend it.
Dirty Pair OAV	Good	Sure the animation quality is not great (and this is an OVA we're talking about), but there's a lot of fun to be found here. Chicks with guns, and with the 80s charm makes this one worth watching.
Dirty Pair: Affair on Nolandia (OAV)	Good	If you like Dirty Pair this is a good OVA. I watched the Streamline dub and while it's a good dub it has its faults.
Dirty Pair: Project Eden (movie)	Good	The dub is better on here than Affair on Nolandia (I watched the Streamline dub) and it has some good moments. Worth a look.
Dog Soldier: Shadows of the Past (OAV)	Bad	Really boring and the cover art of the laserdisc version makes it looks like it's an Rambo rip-off OVA, but it's not. Not recommended.
Domain of Murder (OAV)	Very good	Holds your attention to see what happens in the end. Well done English Dub (which is rare considering it's from CPM).
Dominion Tank Police (OAV)	Very good	Ok, the dub is outdated, but the story is like any other Masamune Shirow titles: Action and headaches/mindf***s from the story (but with comedy).
Doomed Megalopolis (OAV)	Very good	It's dark, a little different, and pretty good. I thought episodes three and four was a little weak but the first two episodes were pretty damn good. A good OVA, and has a good English dub.
Dragon Ball (TV)	Good	What can I say, funner than DBZ, and it was entertaining.
Dragon Ball Z (TV)	Good	Good back then, still have good memories of it.
Dragon Half (OAV)	Decent	The art style is too weird, and I wasn't the biggest fan of the humor (and it's pretty weird the humor).
Elf Princess Rane (OAV)	Very good	Shame it was never completed. Great humor.
Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone (movie)	Not really good	First movie that was showed in the UNF (University of North Florida) anime meeting of the year. Gainix really made this to sucker more money from the fans. Just change a few things around (story line), put on the CG graphics, reuse the animations from the anime, and you got yourself a lame remake. Won't be watching the sequels.
Explorer Woman Ray (OAV)	Decent	It wasn't bad as people say, but it was decent.
Fake (OAV)	Very good	Yes this another Boys Love one that I watched, but it's funny, has a good story, and I like the English dub. Good stuff.
Fist of the North Star Movie	Excellent	Wonderful movie. It's better than the TV series.
(The) Five Star Stories (movie)	Good	Epic title, not epic movie. Too short, would be great if it was longer. Still worth it to watch, but make sure you can pick up the DVD for a good price.
Gakuen Tokusou Hikaruon (OAV)	Good	Pretty cool, and it's like a semi-parody of the sentai shows.
Galaxy Express 999 (movie)	Excellent	Rintaro actually directed this, and it's good!!?? Yes indeed.
Gall Force - Eternal Story (movie)	Decent	Animation and Mechanical design are great, but the story is just not good at all. Disappointed.
Garaga (movie)	Good	They are people out there who hate this movie, but after watching it I didn't find it to be horrible at all. Its an action flick movie of course, but I do have to admit that the story was a little confusing at times. A popcorn flick from the 80s pretty much. Worth picking up for cheap, and the animation is still good after 20 years.
Garzey's Wing (OAV)	Bad	The case box was better than the movie. I can't believe I watch this pile of turd.
Genesis Survivor Gaiarth (OAV)	Very good	I like the story, I thought it was cool. The characters were great, and the music was fantastic. The animation is not the best, but gets the job done. I like it very much, and I would recommend it to people.
Genocyber (OAV)	Very good	Good one from Koichi Ohata. The last two OVA episodes you could live without it.
Ghost in the Shell (movie)	Good	I like Mamoru Oshii, but this movie I found it to be a tad boring (and a ok mindf***). Good animations made up for its raiting.
Ghost Sweeper Mikami Feature (movie)	So-so	It's alright, the animation is great but it's pretty average fair.
Ghost Talker's Daydream (OAV)	Good	Could be better if it was longer. Still worth seeing.
Giant Robo (OAV)	Excellent	Great giant robot story, great animation, and lovely fight segments. I just wish they continue with the story of the fight against Big Fire.
Gin Rei (OAV)	Good	If you watched Giant Robo this short OVA series is pretty damn weird.
Goku: Midnight Eye (OAV)	Decent	So I finally got around to see it in English. IMO it's one of Kawajiri's weaker works but it has the good animation/art style that Kawajiri is known for in the 80s.
Gokudo (TV)	Very good	Wow, I didn't laugh this hard in a while. Gokudo's humor sticks to the whole series without any stopping points. With likable characters, good English dub, and good humor, Gokudo is a real winner. Don't forget the bunny girl!
Golden Boy (OAV)	Excellent	STUDY, STUDY, STUDY, STUDY, STUDY, STUDY, STUDY! VERY EDUCATIONAL.
Golgo 13: Queen Bee (OAV)	Good	It's ok, but I would recommend the Professional.
Golgo 13: The Professional (movie)	Very good	Very good flick about Duke Togo. Want to learn a little about him, watch this.
Grey : Digital Target (movie)	Good	Short, but not too shabby. A good time waster.
Gunbuster (OAV)	Very good	Classic OVA from Gainax. The Gunbuster is an amazing mecha.
Gunbuster 2 (OAV)	Very good	The sequel didn't disappoint me at all. More Fan-Service this time around (not much on T&A, stuff from the original series). If you like the first series you'll like the sequel. You might not get the whole story at first, just keep watching it until the last episode, then it all makes sense (and a big surprise at the end).
Gunsmith Cats (OAV)	Very good	Good one, with a good English dub. Kenichi Sonoda is a pretty big fan of Chicago.
Gurren Lagann (TV)	Very good	Nice story, but not the best one I seen. Good Gainix one.
Hades Project Zeorymer (OAV)	Good	What makes Zeorymer works so well is not only the nice mecha fights, but the main character's duel personality. When the character's personality changes into the mad scientist is when he really steals the show. Certain aspects of the show has some traits which were found years later in Neon Genesis Eva (and this OVA was done back in the 80s).
Harmagedon (movie)	Awful	Rintaro is a interesting director (he directed the Galaxy Express 999 movie, which was great), but this movie was pretty bad (even worse was the arcade laserdisc game Bega's Battle that was based off the movie).
Hellsing (TV)	Very good	I found Hellsing to be entertaining.
Here is Greenwood (OAV)	Excellent	Funny thing is Here is Greenwood is not something I would normally watch. But I like the art style, the English Dub, and the stories about Japanese High School life (which is not normal in any sense). I might actually buy the manga of the series because it's really that good!
(The) Heroic Legend of Arslan (OAV)	Very good	The first two parts were the best IMO. The animation quality on those were fantastic and the music was good too. While the later parts drop in quality they are worth seeing. From the creator of Legend of the Galactic Heroes.
Highlander: The Search for Vengeance (movie)	Very good	Yoshiaki Kawajiri never fail to impress me.
Human Crossing (TV)	Excellent	A show that talks about the lessons of human life. It simply amazing and very underrated. It's sad that the show will turn off many anime fans, but the lessons in the show is so true in real life. A lost treasure.
(The) Humanoid (OAV)	Decent	Good English dub, ok story, not too bad I guess.
INTERSTELLA 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem (movie)	Excellent	Great "music video" from Draft Punk. Got to love the Matsumoto art style.
Iria - Zeiram the Animation (OAV)	Good	Cool little show, noting special but cool.
(The) Irresponsible Captain Tylor (TV)	Very good	Funny, and interesting. Good ending.
Jing: King of Bandits (TV)	Excellent	Of of my favorite newer animes. Love the art style, and wonderful storytelling.
Judge (OAV)	Very good	Very good, the judge steals the show. I would recommend it to people.
Justy (OAV)	Very good	I love the espers idea in Cosmic Police Justy, it's something that you don't see in anime everyday (since some espers are actually the police). Works well, nice music, and has smooth animation. Thumbs up!
Kabuto (OAV)	Decent	From the creator of Cobra and Goku: Midnight Eye we have Kabuto that was mostly done by Buichi Terasawa himself. It has some good moments, but it was decent in the end. Not good, but not crap.
Karas (OAV)	Very good	I'm just going to say it: Karas is the best example of CGI in Anime up to this point. For CGI to work it must have smooth animation and no "choppy" animations. Karas for the most parts works well and it was money well spent. While they were some moments of choppy animation the designs of the Karas and the action sequences more than make up for it. The story wasn't anything great but for the most part it does it job. Good English dub to boot and has a good 5.1 surround sound mix.
Karin (TV)	Good	Not bad of a series, not bad at all.
Kekko Kamen (OAV)	Decent	I'll say this: The OVA is just damn weird. Sure it's full of sex jokes (basically getting to the point that Kekko Kamen is making fun of hentai in general), but if you like to have fun with adult humor fun can be found here.
*KiMeRa (OAV)*	Not really good	Confusing, and in a way stupid. At least I paid $4 for it.
King of Bandit Jing in Seventh Heaven (OAV)	Very good	If you like the TV series you'll love the OVA series.
(The) King of Fighters: Another Day (ONA)	Decent	If you play the KOF fighting games it's not too bad. Made just for the fans of the games.
Knight of the Iron Dragon (OAV)	Excellent	Part of the Cockpit.
Labyrinth (movie)	Excellent	Part of Neo-Tokyo.
Labyrinth of Flames (OAV)	Good	It gives Puni Puni Poemy a run for its money. Very random, full of sex jokes, and tons of underwear shots. Man, I consider this a little worse than Puni Puni Poemy when it comes to its wackiness. :P
Ladius (OAV)	Good	Fantasy setting with mecha action and a little humor, sweet! Wish this OVA was popular enough in Japan to make one or two more episodes.
Legend of Lemnear (OAV)	Excellent	Legend of Lemnear does everything right when it comes to 80s OVAs. More blood than a TV series could handle, more nudity than a movie could handle, fantastic animations, and the super cool 80s soundtrack. One episode OVAs are not known by their stories, but more for the animation, violence, and nudity. This one fits the bill perfectly and it's full of action. If you like OVAs buy this, it shouldn't cost you more than $10. The English dub is not great, so it's recommended to watch it in Japanese.
Legend of the Galactic Heroes (OAV)	Masterpiece	It's a shame that the episode length will turn off people (110 episodes), but this is my personal favorite OVA of all time. The storyline is unmatched (my favorite anime story), it's amazing with great writing. More for the fans who like Space Operas or Military stuff in general. But rest assure that each episode is important. None of them are fillers which is common in long animes. I swear after watching it you'll remember the quotes from the main characters. It's a must, a true masterpiece.
Lensman (movie)	Decent	For its time it was a visual masterpiece. One of the earliest animes that I know that uses CGI. The CGI is outdated, but it was a nice touch. Unfortunately the story is pretty average and it felt like it was rushed for a good bit. Not too bad considering it was the first time Yoshiaki Kawajiri directed something, but he won't be remembered for this film. I watched the unedited Streamline Picture's English Dub.
Lily C.A.T. (movie)	Good	I'll tell you one thing, this is better than Roots Search if you're going to make something similar to the first Alien movie.
Lucky Star (TV)	Very good	I must tell you the truth, I'm not the biggest fan of newer animes, but Lucky Star's writing (scripting) was the reason why I watch it. Very clever writing. I would recommend it for the biggest anime fan.
Lucky Star OVA	Good	Nice extra stories for fans of the series.
Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro (movie)	Excellent	Great movie, and you don't need to see/read any Lupin material to enjoy it.
Mad Bull 34 (OAV)	Not really good	My guilty pleasure. I'm from New York City, and having this OVA completely mess up NYC is the most funniest thing ever. And having British VAs trying to pull off the New Yorker accents, priceless.
Madox-01 (OAV)	Very good	I like this short OVA. Cool little story with a lot of action!
Magnetic Rose (movie)	Good	Part of Memories
MD Geist (OAV)	Very good	Sure if you watch the English dub it's crap. But if you watch it in Japanese it's pretty damn good. I like MD Geist, and IMO the reason why people call it the worse ever (on ANN) is they didn't watch it in the first place and their buddies said it sucks. If you like 80s OVAs you'll like MD Geist. What's the problem not liking a cool badass?
MD Geist II - Death Force (OAV)	Very good	If you like MD Geist you'll like the sequel. Good stuff.
Megazone 23 (OAV)	Good	The first successful OVA. Megazone 23 did entertain me with action, and a interesting storyline. It left me with a good taste in my mouth, but I thought it could be better (but still good). I'll wait until I watch part II and III before final judgment of the series.
Megazone 23 Part II (OAV)	Very good	For starters when you have Ichiro Itano as the director you are bound to see some gore scenes. I did rate Part II very good, but I did have some problems with it. It seems like Yui had a personality change (she is a different person from Part I). For reason I didn't like the change. Also different are the character designs of Shogo, Yui, and B.D. I understand the change of character design change for Shogo and Yui as part of not getting caught, but B.D. why they change the way he looks in the first place? Action wise better than Part I. Won't be my favorite OVA, but it's a good one. If you want to read Part III from me look at the Seen Some area.
Memories (movie)	Very good	I love skit movies and Memories is pretty good. I prefer Neo-Tokyo but this one stands out on its own. The animation is fantastic, and the art style is great (Cannon Fodder has some amazing art). I found Magnetic Rose to be the weakest of the three skits, but Stink Bomb and Cannon Fodder were great.
Mobile Fighter G Gundam (TV)	Excellent	Different, great storyline, action, and uber-cool Gundams. It kept me looking at the TV when I watched it back on Toonami all those years ago. I even watch it again many years later. One of my favorite animes.
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (TV)	Very good	Great story, see it just once.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack (movie)	Very good	Well I didn't watch Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ at all so I was confused for a good bit about the backstory. Even if you haven't watch the series that the movie was based from, the movie was pretty good. I watched this when it was broadcast on Adult Swim all those years ago. I remember it clearly since after the broadcast Adult Swim went to a weekday thing (later it came back on the weekends). I would recommend seeing it, a good high-budget movie.
Moldiver (OAV)	Good	Girl who turns into a superhero, sweet. A cool show, like the girl Mirai actually. Nicely animated, and the English was good (for its time). Get ready for some family fighting!
Neo-Tokyo (movie)	Excellent	Wow, I really don't know what to say. For starters the animation quality of Neo-Tokyo (kind-of a misleading name because none of this short movie takes place in Tokyo at all) is amazing (remember, back then everything was hand drawed). A short movie of three skits from three different directors. Two of them are famous in the US while the other one is not quite famous. The first skit, Labyrinth, which was directed by Rintaro (has a hit and miss track record when it comes to movies) is quite a visual fest. The second one, Running Man, which was directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri (Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust) is amazing. The third one is called The Order to Stop Construction. If the art looks familiar, it's from Katsuhiro Otomo (Akira). It's really hard to explain how good Neo-Tokyo is. I would recommend buy the DVD if possible (it's a little hard to get a copy, published by ADV Films). The English dub was pretty good, I recommend playing it in English when watching it. Once again this movie is not about Neo-Tokyo at all. To tell you the truth I don't know why they call it Neo-Tokyo in the first place.
Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV)	Good	I think it's too overrated. It's interesting, but the ending left me with a bad taste in my mouth. After watching it I didn't became crazy for it. I just call it just another TV anime series.
New Fist of the North Star (OAV)	Good	If you like FONS in general it's worth seeing. I found some of the animations to be on the cheap side, but at least we still have unedited head explosions.
Nineteen 19 (OAV)	Excellent	This is for the old-schoolers. Music, the atmosphere, the art all hit the 80s pretty damn good. Another favorite OVA. It's a pain trying to download it.
Ninja Nonsense (TV)	Very good	Funny and random, nonsense really.
Ninja Scroll (movie)	Excellent	Yoshiaki Kawajiri's excellent work. Good English dub.
Odin - Starlight Mutiny (movie)	Awful	Didn't put me to sleep, instead it gave me a headache. Why did this shitty movie had smooth animation where the story was sloppy told? A waste of $10. Thumbs down.
Oh My Goddess! (OAV)	Good	Nice cute OVA series. Not my style, but not a total time waster.
Once Upon a Time [Windaria] (movie)	Excellent	From the director of Pokemon TV series came one forgotten classic. It's sad yes, but it's pretty damn amazing. But whatever you do, see it in Japanese.
(The) Order to Stop Construction (movie)	Excellent	Part of Neo-Tokyo.
Otaku no Video (OAV)	Very good	More for old-school fans, part of the retelling of Gainax founding and when they did the Daicon III and IV videos.
Outlanders (OAV)	Good	When I watched it in Japanese I found it to be a little boning, but when I watch the original English dub that was done by Animaze it was funny. Its better to watch it in English IMO.
Outlaw Star (TV)	Good	Good adventure series.
Patlabor 2: The Movie	Very good	Another good movie about Patlabors. Political, but good. Didn't like the fact that Noa's appearance was changed to make her more matured (which in the movie he acted a lot order, but she wasn't the main character in the movie). Good movie, but this is for people who watched Patlabor before.
Patlabor The Mobile Police (OAV 1/1988)	Excellent	Great OVA series. Love the humor.
Patlabor WXIII (movie 3)	Good	The visuals were great, but the plot feels like its been done before. Still a good movie to pick it up for cheap.
Patlabor: The Movie	Very good	Great movie, but not as funny as the OVA series.
Pilot Candidate (TV)	Decent	Yes I seen all the episodes (it was never completed). It was pretty interesting and I didn't lose my time.
Plastic Little (OAV)	So-so	It tries to be epic, but the length make it impossible to be one. Very average, and fan service heavy (and the infamous Jiggle Counter). At least the animation was nice.
Power Dolls (OAV)	Decent	Chicks with Mechas. Not too bad, but it's like I seen the show before.
Princess Minerva (OAV)	Good	A simple short funny OVA. It does the job.
Project A-Ko (movie)	Very good	Good stuff. Action, funny moments, good story, couldn't ask for more.
Puni Puni Poemy (OAV)	Good	Excel Saga but with a huge overdose. Be warned.
Read or Die (OAV)	So-so	It's alright, but I seen better.
Riding Bean (OAV)	Good	Kenichi Sonoda's Blue Brothers and French Connection homage OVA. Cool one.
Robot Carnival (OAV)	Masterpiece	The Golden Age of Anime is long gone but the era left us with plenty of famous works. Robot Carnival is one of the famous works in the era. High budget with nine directors each with a skit that has to do with robots. Everything was done by hand, and the quality is very high. My favorite skits were A Strange Tale of Meiji Machines: Episode of the Red Haired Man's Invasion, Cloud, Starlight Angel, and Deprive. I would recommend seeing it in Japanese with subtitles.
Roots Search (OAV)	Not really good	Not good at all, but has some ok action sequences.
Roujin Z (OAV)	Excellent	Great, I enjoy this one a lot.
Ruin Explorers (OAV)	Very good	Nice story, nice animation, great music, and it's funny. For four episodes it's a great one, but I wished there were maybe one or two more episodes to extend the story a bit. Other than that, it's pretty good.
Running Man (movie)	Excellent	Part of Neo-Tokyo.
Samurai Champloo (TV)	Excellent	Amazing, from the guy behind Cowboy Bebop.
Samurai Pizza Cats (TV)	Very good	The Japanese version was boring for starters. What Saban did to Samurai Pizza Cats was amazing. Despite it's edited it's fun to watch with a lot of humor. Good for kids and adults.
Sengoku Majin GoShogun (TV)	Bad	Note: I watched Macron I and thus this will be about Macron I actually. In all do respect it sucks, the editing sucks and honestly I don't know what the hell Saban was thinking.
Silent Möbius (movie)	Decent	Picked up the Streamline VHS for cheap and as expected the dub is good but I found the running time to be too short for a feature like this and has a weak story. At least I didn't lose my time.
Silent Service (special)	Very good	I wish they were more episodes, perhaps two more at least. It ends in a semi-cliffhanger. A shame, a great war drama.
Slipstream (OAV)	Excellent	Part of The Cockpit.
Sonic Boom Squadron (OAV)	Excellent	Part of The Cockpit.
Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie	Good	Not bad, good for the Sonic fans.
Sonic X (TV)	Decent	OK adaption of the Sonic fans.
Space Adventure Cobra (TV)	Excellent	Wonderful space adventures. Great "Pulp" Space Action. Love it.
Spirited Away (movie)	Excellent	My first film I ever watched from Studio Ghibli. I was expected a good film and I got one. Highly recommended.
Star Blazers: The Comet Empire (TV)	Very good	AKA Space Battleship Yamato Season II. For a good bit it's like they were using the ideas of the first season (which I wasn't too keen on), but in the later episodes it gotten really good. If you love the first season please see the second season.
Star Blazers: The Quest for Iscandar (TV)	Excellent	AKA Space Battleship Yamato Season I. Wonderful space opera story, would recommend it if you can stand the 70s animations.
Starship Troopers (OAV)	Very good	The most faithful of the media adaptions of the novel (but still very liberal in many aspects). The music is very 80s and that's in my opinion is one great aspect of the OVA. I love the music and I wish I had the OST in my collection. It's hard to explain but seeing how Rico react with his buddies and many cool scenes with the music playing in the backgrounds just makes it a classic in 80s OVAs. Only downside is that the animation quality it pretty much TV quality most of the time.
Stink Bomb (movie)	Very good	Part of Memories.
Strain: Strategic Armored Infantry (TV)	Good	It wasn't too bad, but there are better series out there.
Strait Jacket (OAV)	Good	Reminds me of the OVAs of the 90s: Violent, cool stuff, and a BS story which nobody cares about.
Street Fighter Alpha: Generations (OAV)	Bad	VG movies fail.
Street Fighter II V (TV)	Not really good	Please don't spend your time watching this TV series, it was stupid.
Street Fighter II: The Movie	Good	One of the few good Video Game movies.
Sukeban Deka (OAV)	Very good	A chick with a yo-yo sounds pretty damn cool. And you know what, it is cool. The two episode OVA was fun to watch, but I do have to admit the animation is pretty standard fare.
(The) Super Dimension Fortress Macross (TV)	Excellent	Classic. While the animation is outdated, the story, action, and music makes this one a winner.
(The) Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Do You Remember Love? (movie)	Very good	Everyone said the movie is great, in a way yes. The problem with the movie is that you MUST watch the TV series in order to understand half the story. Even if the movie was a retelling of the story, I feel there were parts that you must watch the TV series to understand. The animation is fantastic, and the music is great (wonderful scene near the end of the movie). It's a good one, but I won't call it excellent.
(The) Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Flash Back 2012 (OAV)	Good	If you love the songs it's pretty much a 30 minute music video of footage taken from DYRL. It's good if you're a fan of the series.
Sword for Truth (movie)	Good	Osamu Dezaki is a pretty good director. This OVA is a short one, and it's actually good.
Sword of the Stranger (movie)	Very good	Good movie with nice 2D animation but weak plot.
Takegami - Guardian of Darkness (OAV)	Good	Animation quality is disappointing, but the show has action, drama, and Japanese mystical stories (if that's your thing). Pretty cool show in my book.
Tekken: The Motion Picture	Bad	VG movies fail.
Tenchi in Tokyo (TV)	Decent	Different art style (which was very weird), not that great story, disappointed.
Tenchi Muyo Movie 1: Tenchi in Love	Very good	Good movie from the Tenchi series.
Tenchi Muyo Movie 2: Daughter of Darkness	Very good	The funniest one of the three movies. My favorite.
Tenchi Muyo Movie 3: Tenchi Forever	Good	The slowest and the most depressing of the three movies.
Tenchi Muyo! Mihoshi Special	Very good	If you love Tenchi you're going to love this Special. The first time Pretty Sammy ever appeared!
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki (OAV)	Excellent	The anime that got me into anime.
Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki OAV 2	Very good	Good.
Tenchi Muyo! The Night Before The Carnival (OAV)	Very good	Funny.
Tenchi Universe (TV)	Excellent	Great, see it if you like the Tenchi series.
They Were 11 (movie)	Excellent	Great Space Drama. I would recommend it to anyone.
Time Stranger (OAV)	Decent	It's ok, thought it was weird for the fact that this film in a way was making fun of Islam.
TO-Y (OAV)	Very good	Pretty good music-based OAV, similar to Nineteen19 (but I like Nineteen19 better). Amazing story in the Buried Treasure article about TO-Y, better read it.
Tokyo Project (OAV)	So-so	Dull story and dull action sequences. Not recommended.
Toward the Terra (movie)	Very good	If you can stand heavy dialog films then please watch Toward the Terra. The story was well done and it's one of those classic movies from the 80s. My only gripe that there wasn't enough action in the movie. Other than that, it's pretty good.
Transformers: The Movie (U.S.)	Decent	Not too bad of a movie, just ok in my book.
Trigun (TV)	Very good	Great TV series, enjoy it.
Twilight of the Cockroaches (movie)	Good	It's cool seeing a hybrid film with live-action and animation mix in. I paid good money for the Laserdisc and I wasn't disappointed at all. Good movie.
Twilight of the Dark Master (OAV)	Good	Nice short OAV, cool ideas.
Twilight Q (OAV)	Good	A short lived showcase series of different directors. This is not for everyone, I would recommend it more for the old-school fans.
Ultimate Teacher (OAV)	Good	The humor is very different, many people didn't like it, except me. I enjoy it, and I laughed pretty hard when seeing it.
Urban Square - Kouhaku no Tsuigeki (OAV)	Excellent	Excellent OVA. If you can download it do it. Almost a hour long, and a kind-of parody of action/noir movies (kind-of similar to Last Action Hero, but different).
Urotsukidoji (OAV)	Weak	This is for Legend of the Demon Womb. It's lame, went downhill after Legend of the Overfiend.
Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend (movie)	Good	It helps to watch the edited version of the film in English. Pretty crazy and graphically sick. But at least the English dub is epic.
Vampire Hunter D (OAV)	Very good	Great.
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (movie)	Excellent	I can't find anything bad about against Yoshiaki Kawajiri in his directing career. He directs some pretty good stuff. I like Bloodlust better than the first movie.
Vampire Princess Miyu (OAV)	Very good	I found the pacing to be a little slow, but the OVA has some nice visual presentation (not by the animation quality, the way they did some of the scenes with the music in the background). Both DVDs are cheap so it's a good buy.
Vampire Wars (OAV)	Very good	A lot of people hate this OVA, but I like it. I can't find noting terrible wrong with Vampire Wars. It's a nice enjoyable OVA.
(The) Venus Wars (movie)	Good	Yoshikazu Yasuhiko was an pretty amazing director in Crusher Joe. But in Venus Wars' case, well it's good but not great.
Violence Jack (OAV)	Good	Oh boy, a little crazy of the violence and sex scenes, but a good old school OVA (from Go Nagai, also created Black Lion).
Violence Jack 2 (OAV)	Good	Over the top rape scenes. Almost stop watching it because of it. They make the genital areas blockly. Not bad story wise, but once again the violence is a little crazy.
Violence Jack 3 (OAV)	Good	Good OVA, not as crazy as the second one.
Virgin Fleet (OAV)	Decent	Not great, but enjoyable.
Voices of a Distant Star (OAV)	Good	The first thing I ever watched from Makoto Shinkai. I thought it was good the idea of the boyfriend and the girlfriend being separated by time and space and sending text messages. My only issue with the OVA (and apparently Shinkai's stuff) is that it doesn't excite me that much. I might give 5 Centimeters Per Second a shot sooner or later but I'm not too crazy for it that much.
Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer (OAV)	Decent	Since this was based of the Neo-Geo fighting game (which was average) I was expected the OVA (which was in a way later reformatted into a movie by CPM) to be full of fail. I was actually surprise since the plot wasn't bad, and has action. Of course if you like fan service there's lots of it as well. Don't expect too much and you might be surprised.
Wanna-Be's (OAV)	Good	I own this on Laserdisc and it saids on the cover that it's funny and has action. It does have action but it's not as funny as I hoped. Still the action scenes are good and it's a nice little OVA from the 80s. No DVD release, so I would recommend picking it up on Laserdisc if you want to see it.
Wicked City (movie)	Very good	Very good story. Another good movie from Yoshiaki Kawajiri. Rivals Violence Jack 2 when it comes to sex scenes. If you're not the biggest fan of sex scenes you might want to stay away from it.
Wild Cardz (OAV)	So-so	Animation is high quality but everything else is not. A shame since all that good animation went down the toilet.
A Wind Named Amnesia (movie)	Good	Good movie. I thought it was too short to tell you the truth.
(The) Wings of Honneamise (movie)	Masterpiece	Masterpiece. If you compare this to Akira animation wise Akira wins. Storyline wise Honneamise wins. I enjoy Honneamise more than Akira. All anime fans must see this.
You're Under Arrest (OAV)	Excellent	I love the characters, I love the music, and the animation is fantastic! I might watch the TV series in the future, but the animation will look like shit compare to the OVAs.
Yugo the Negotiator (TV)	Very good	I thought it was a very good show. Very realistic which is very rare in anime, and the subject theme was pretty good. So much detail went into the cultural history of the Arab world and Russia.
