Afro Samurai (TV) Good things this show did well- Epic action scenes. Funny inner black guy companion. great story concept. problems with this show- too short. lacks the detail you want. does a single job. While this anime was by no means a disappointment, after watching it you really do wish it was longer. they didn't explain much, or expand on anything as it went along. You were kinda left in the dark as far as the rules of the universe and many events seemed unnecessary. That being said, this show ranks very high on the bad ass scale. basically, if you wanna see some action, you watch yourself some Afro samurai. which brings the fact that its so short onto the other side of the fence. Being that its roughly 2- 2.5 hours long its more like a big movie then your typical 12 episode series which makes it easy to sit down and knock it out quick. So if you were too look at this more like a long movie then a season its much more impressive however, although the story idea was awesome it brings way to much to the table not to mention they do waste a good chunk of time on stuff that is rather irreverent. had they been more focused and goal driven throughout the whole season i think it would have turned out to be much better final product. BUT If you can kinda just sit back an accept what happens frame by frame you are in for a healthy dose of sword based violence and revenge. which in itself is pretty neat.
Afro Samurai: Resurrection (movie) Decent what this movie does well- the action scenes are pretty neat. keeps you interested. problems with this movie- doesn't deliver on what you expect. plot was very blah. left with many questions. Going into a movie version of afro samurai i was expecting some epic hack and slash beatings with good music with an underlying plot motivator. sadly you don't really get it. sure they had a few cool action scenes but they never really kick afro into bad ass mode. he's good but it was like a poor me my passed sucked and i regret it type station. which isn't where my problem is. my problem is with the fact he is such a mess the bad ass samurai i want is just, like, sitting there, taking it in the ass for most of the movie. The can of worms they opened up to start the whole thing also turns out to be waaaay more then they can explain in the short movie span. one of my big issues was he spent his whole life basically looking for the number two headband so he could finally challenge the number one in the series. he finally gets it, then immediately they just whoop is ass no problem and take it from him. isnt he suppose to be like, the best around? i thought so, but even worse than that is he finds the number two headband literally in like 20 minutes. how in the hell is it this easy all of a sudden? oh and of course he has to murder a father to get it. basically the movie was a disappointment. but if you really loved the series this movie does give you a better picture as it takes place in between episodes of the series. it also carries the same feel and of course the same characters so obviously if your into them you'll enjoy it. however, don't expect much and you'll get what you expect.

Angel Beats! (TV) Good The angel beats story starts off easy enough, you drop 1 otonashie complete with full fledged amnesia into a purgatory high school setting next to 1 yurripe with a high caliber rifle aimed at a girl commonly referred to as angel, then have him drafted into your average resistance group of teenages with access to military grade weapons after he is brutally murdered by said angel. And together they combat this evil do-er JUST KIDDING although that all does happen, the story actually follows otonashi as he explores this crazy relhm trying to doge death and regain his memory, while at the same time learning about all his newfound friends along the way. Slightly misleading opening is it not? Honestly, trying to figure out what this story is about right out of the gate is nearly impossible, as the main plot goal seems to bounce around nearly every episode. Which kills me inside a little because as you will learn I have a marathoning problem. Making episodical like series slightly less interesting to me, this of course doesn’t always occur but with angel beats it contributes to a special problem… I am of course referring to the “weekly plot twist” where at the end or beginning of the episode YOU ARE SHOCKED AND AWED, these of course, become slightly tiring as the series progresses mainly because you can almost never just enjoy some character development or miniature victory. To put it in perspective in say episode 4 you fight your way through a cage of lions, well at the end you will open a door to another cage of lions, but this time pterodactyls are circling overhead, BUM BUM BUUUUUUUUM. So while I’m knocking out all the negatives of angel beats real quick I might as well hit the two biggest problems with this series, the enormous cast, and the tiny little time frame the series takes place in. First off they have a group of 12+ characters most of which are completely ignored, they just sail on by and though you may demand they be brought to the spot light, it never occurs. Which is a shame because nearly every side character is more interesting then the main cast. And as for problem number two where most other problems in the show stem there idea was all in all really great, as a 24 episode series. It was not 24 episodes, leading to the “we crunched way too much stuff into this” syndrome that many an anime has fallen into Although I am hard on angel beats I feel I am so only because I saw how close it was to being awesome, but in the end angel beats to me is the definition of “missed it by that much” HOWEVER, I am not quite as cynical as others are, and as you may have been wondering, there are actually some great things about angel beats. That make it worth watching Admittedly the emotional aspect may not phase you if you are not a genuinely sympathetic person BUT if you are then angel beats will undouble make you cry yourself to sleep with all of its heavy hitting feels. That come mainly from its well-constructed backstories of the few characters they bother to go into. A more surprising detail is how funny angel beats actually turned out to be, all in all it may aim to hit you with its feels, but the comedy in between was defiantly worth a few good laughs, probably more so then the creators intended The animation is also rather impressive, normally I wouldn’t bother to mention this, because how well stuff is drawn is just how well its drawn I don’t take much issue up with that but in this case, I found it to be quite exceptional in nearly every aspect. THE CHARACTERS (now moving on to the cast) Usually I would be able to go over most of the cast in this segment but oh no, not with angel beats. We can however cover a main few, otonashi of course is the main character who like many before him has lot all his memory, he tends to act off a moral high ground, and although he does seem to be the most logical person in the room sometimes, his complete dedication to his good guy complex makes most of what he does predictable. That being said, later on in the series otonashi serves his purpose well, basically giving the audience a reason to listen to the side characters backstories and help them try to find peace with themselves. Yuri the crazy yet somehow totally likeable leader of battle front does tend to be a bit less easy to predict with her crazy schemes and quickly formulated strategies that occur in most action scenes that occur, and on a positive note she actually has an appropriate background motivation for much of what she does, which gives me little to complain about overall And finally angel is really the only other character worth mentioning in detail as she plays a large part in all of this as well, she is essentially an adorable killing machine who says little and loves spicy tofu. Later on you learn a bit more about her and someone finally asks the question “hey, why is angel the bad guy” around like episode 7 when that should have been the first thing they cleared up. But whatever. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to go over all the sub characters in this series as they all were quit interesting, and it was when the show focused in on one of these characters that it really began to shine, had they cut out some of the unneeded action and added in more side character dedicated episodes, it defiantly would have been an upgrade. THE LOVE INTREST(s) …….yeah they F**CKED this part up. Essentially an awkward love triangle forms between otonashi yurri and angel, but later on just poofs away because lets face it cutting straight to the I love you’s for the majority of the population pack on more feels then A WELL CONSTRUCTED WELL DEVELOPED AND BELEIVEABLE RELATIONSHIP where idk more then 5 minutes is dedicated to giving the characters a reason to have any sort of a relationship but, regardless, its sure to hit you with some feels and immediately after the series ends you’ll be begging to give it 5 stars, but only after you let angel beats soak in can you see past the forest of feels they throw your way. And judge it for its terrible habits WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!?!?! Although angel beats falls short in most everything it does, it still manages to keep you interested enough to finish the whole series, while at the same time making you re priorities your life and its current direction. It shocks you with how funny it can be, and moves you to tears with its well constructed back stories, while at the same time it infuriates you by ignoring most of the side characters, and going off on random story tangents while never giving you a clear cut goal. All the while trying to one up its last plot twist with an even twistier twist! But, luckily it does all this while looking rather orgasmic coupled with excellent background music purpose designed to add an extra tear to your eye. Angel beats can only be described as angel beats. Personally I believe that comparing all animes to the same scale is impractical (how can you even try to hold clannad and high school of the undead to the same standards?) so my scale is based entirely off of my own gut feeling, angel beats in my opinion earns a respectable 6.75/10 earning most of its points from its comedy and overall story tone, not the story itself. as for buying it, id recommend waiting until a holiday sale to do so. Although feel free to stream it off something like crunchy roll whenever your find Yourself craving a slightly above average light drama.
anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day (TV) Excellent
Another (TV) So-so what this show does good- surprisingly good ending, very gory murders, occasional plot twist you don't see coming. what this show does poorly- lacks in almost every department aside from picture quality, becomes very easy to predict, by its very nature once you know how it ends there's no point in watching it again because it was one giant puzzle keeping you interested during your first view. alright well, i wish i had some good stuff to say about another but i really dont have much. when i have to pull of the fact that it was drawn very well as its only positive you know its going to be meh. starting with the flaws you are given almost no actual information for the entire first half of the series, which is infuriating because literally for 5 episodes its basically "tell me whats going on" "nope sorry i cant tell you" however, it is explained why this is near mid series SO...i can live with that aspect but as you continue along with the story it becomes slightly comical, i didn't care about any of the cast so its not like i cared if they lived or died. spoiler alert lots of people died. now this was meant to build tension and be spooky or whatever but like i said before everybody was so over dramatic and sketchy it made nothing actually believable. i think the final nail in the coffin for another was the fact everything went exactly like they said it should, i was watching it with a friend and a situation would occur and we would immediately be like "yup shes dead" and we were right, but that didn't surprise us because they tell you once the curse has begun someone must die every episode, er somthing along those lines anyway. in short another is way to series and dramatic al loses all its credibility as a spooky horror movie by becoming easy to predict and accept. all that being said they do manage to cobbled enough events together to leave you confused yet make it easy to understand what happened so in that sense i cant say it was horrible, but i wouldn't recommend it to the new anime enthusiast.
Aria the Scarlet Ammo (TV) Good A clever crime solving action packed due whooping some ass, a few hints of romance and a good game plan, i thought this season was definitely worth my time its only down fall is they need a second season to answer all the open ended questions that aside it was a great story arc with a few well placed twists and witty comments.

Baccano! (TV) Good things this anime did well- one of the most unique story telling tactics ive ever seen problems with this show- hard to follow. feels like you're stuck on one point in a bigger story line Alright, so. Baccano! is quite the beast. i mean there's nothing like a story set in the mob era of america that involves crazy train murders. blood trunk psychopaths, cry babies, immortality granting devils, two goof-ball master theifs oh yeah, and no main character! *phew* quite the situation i know. however this crazy situation is a story told from everyone's perspective, giving you all the information of all these teams of players that just so happen to cross paths over the course of a few years. yeah, it sounds like a giant cluster fuck when you say it out loud indeed, however. baccano actually comes together to be a rather solid anime. now im not saying its the easiest thing in the world to follow but if you're sick of watching the same plot devices used over and over again i highly recommend baccano. the only problem i really had with it was that you view many of the same events from a different point of view multiple times, which gives it a feeling of repetitiveness occasionally, however everytime you watch the event you more often then not have new information and can see other events take place inside the event your watching, which all in all turns out to be really cool in itself, although with no main character you can basically kiss all the character devlopment and depth goodbye as they use all of the allotted time to tell the story from the different characters. this however is a necessary evil to give you what baccano does so all in all id say baccano is like a cool gangster version of FLCL without the drugs that actually makes sense.
Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts (TV) Excellent things this show did well- Thee most funny series i have watched to date. kept everything fresh. manages to sneak some awesome action based scenes in. problems with this show- the story sort of fades away during the middle episodes. character backgrounds are largely missing. Out of everything I've watch thus far, this series is the only one that i was completely happy to re watch both seasons within a few weeks of my first view. through out the whole season they some how manage to create these hilarious insides jokes/tendencies for each character while still managing to keep putting a little twist on it so as not to bore the audience. the concept for the school battle system that you think is going to be a huge main stage act in the season turns out to be the cake they quick throw together and then let cook over the rest of the season. they more or less introduce you to everyone and let you get to know the series characters and before you know it. ding, the cake they left in the oven makes an unexpected entrance in the last few episodes giving you a clever action twist on what is a pure genius comedy. they wrap it up nicely for the next season which if you have made it this far are dying to see. overall this series is just a good time waiting to happen, i recommend you knock a few shots back and marathon it with a friend. its certain to make your night just that much better.
Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts 2 (TV) Excellent things this season did well- kept all the great aspects of the first season. provided some background info. problems with this season- they don't finish what they've started. the ending sort of shits on everything they tried to build and you find yourself back to square one. What we have here in the title are the words baka and test. this should immediately inform you that what your about to watch is hilarious. Without a doubt they achieved an A+ rating in the comedy field yet again. Somehow coming up with more crazy situations that our group most figure a way out of. However, i think to everyone surprise this season got serious for a few episodes. i know, i was shocked as well. It actually addresses some background story of why two hot girls are obsessed with this class F goof ball. and it actually like, worked. the motivation was finally there an they presented it in a clear cut manor, while using the last bit of the episodes to lighten the mood with more humorous scenes. I think one of the most obvious and out right ignored part of this series, up until they addressed it of course, was why in the fuck shoco was crazy obsessed with marrying yuji. you sorta just learned to accept it as you keep watching and they hint at the fact they use to be friends, then they finally devote the episode to it and your like ooooooooooooh i see whats going on here. they continue on with the last bit of action in the season furthering all the relationships they built up in the past few episodes and it all comes together nice and sweet and all that fun still. Then, it ends but they manage to completely open everything way back up. the love triangle becomes stronger then it ever was on both sides and shocos crazy ass is still hunting down yujji and poof game over. now i assume with this series success they plan on making another season. and they damn well better because they dangled this really cool story in front of you, then threw sand in your face as they ripped it away. overall this series is very enjoyable from start to finish full of epic laughs and silly action. but when you think of what could have been, you realize the need for another season.
Baka and Test: Summon the Beasts OVA Excellent The glory that is Baka and test continues in yet another hilarious installment. these are two great episodes that just help bridge the two seasons. however, they do make references to these later in season two so to get the full effect out of it watching these is a must. which isn't a bad thing considering these are just as funny as any other episodes of baka, if not even more so.
Banished from the Hero's Party (TV) Not really good
Berserk: The Golden Age Arc I - The Egg of the King (movie)
Beyond the Boundary (TV) Excellent
Black Bullet (TV)
Black Cat (TV) Good
Black Lagoon (TV) Excellent things this show does well- it rates so high on the bad ass scale its scary. realistic fowl dialog. blunt aggressive awesomeness. problems with this series- it was very episodically, no real clear story point. Rock is basically a huge pussy. Upon entering the black lagoon domain you must mentally prepare for what your about to witness. if its not tazing you in the balls its spraying you in the face with bear mace and laughing at you the whole time. what i'm trying to get at is the characters in the show don't fuck around. right out of the gate you find yourself getting pulled into the gun fight and you simply cant look away. the characters in this story remain rather constant unfortunately. nobody really has a change of heart or anything, which is really the most appropriate way to go about business considering the personality types of the cast. it is however an extream disappointment that rock the main character had to turn out to be a giant pussy. He does however have one glorious moment in this series where he stands up to revy and blows the fuck up. it was honestly the coolest nerve snap i've seen from any anime thus far. Unfortunately, it doesn't last it brings rock and Revy closer but really doesn't serve a purpose for later on in the season. you get the feeling that they are trying to slowly let a relationship factor creep into this giant gun touting action packed lawless saloon of a series, but judging how slowly they are wedging it in there they must plan on having quite a few more season to what it develop. overall i don't recommend a marathon watching of this season because it is so episodic, i do however, highly suggest you watch a few episodes before bed. It will no doubt make you more bad ass as a result.
Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail (OAV) Very good Things this OVA did well- rock wasn't a bitch, great action, large epicness factor problems with this OVA- meh rated ending, roberta became a little too invincible Alright so right off that bat it would be really helpful if you had watch the other black lagoon season, but it isn't very hard to jump right into this story plot. One of my favorite things about this ova was Rock actually becomes a little bit evil and its honestly awesome. As we follow the chase for Roberta they re-touch up on almost all the characters, we see some US intervention and some unlucky fellows get sawed in half with a hip fired 50cal. oh yes, its black lagoon baby. the story progresses rather aggressively as one might assume with large amounts of ass beating and behind the door dealing but it actually follows a nice clear story arc, which the first season lacks and the second season over did, drawing out things and creating action lules. in my opinion this OVA in many ways is superior to the series. The only real big problems i had with it was the whole situation was basically pointless and the fact that Roberta couldn't be stopped. im all about a super bad ass who cant be stopped but when you get into CQC with a squad of military men, like, come on bro how can you possibly miss just point and shoot! however, aside from those two minor shortfalls i found this OVA to be absolutely awesome. if you even remotely enjoyed the black lagoon series then this is a must see!
Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage (TV) Good what this season did well- ramped up the black lagoon more violence more better ideology problems with this series- it did get bogged down for awhile and the overall character development remains rather low.
Blood Blockade Battlefront (TV)
Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan (TV) Decent definitely not what i expected it to be, but in a very good way. its one of those silly anime that is 100% comedy oriented nothing is taken all that seriously and everything is a crude joke or ridiculous situation. However, they keep things moving by making every episode very short so if you're bored or what something in the background that doesn't require you to constantly pay attention, but you can look up at it occasionally and laugh, then this is what your looking for.
Blue Exorcist (TV) Decent what this show did good- really interesting universe set up, great background story, huge potential to expand. what this series did wrong- IT DROPPED THE BALL HARD, wasted time on needless side stories, rushed an absurd ending, neglected many cool aspects of the universe, love interest piddled out to nothing at the end. alright so, Blue exorcist starting out they give you a great mission and a great motivator, it takes an episode or two to warm up but once it starts flowing its awesome (the first 8ish episodes were my favorite) you're introduced to this whole secret sub culture of demons and the organization that fights them, in side organasation there is basically a class system and a ranking system with a higher arcy of skill. there are unique rules that govern how demons can be killed and who can or cant see them. that being said none of these ever get taken advantage of or brought up again or really matter at fucking all. because for some reason they used up like 9 episodes in the middle of there 24 to switch from an awesome action adventure in a cool setting to a slice of life with no fucking goal universe. anyone more to the point the main character has this big bad secret and it has this huge consequence if it gets out..suuuuuuuuure. anyways new character pop up way too late in the series to be developed or used properly yet they should play a HUGE role and just sorta don't. the thing that pisses me off is the reason the ending was so bad was that it was rushed, and not because they didn't have enough time...Angel beats was rushed because they didn't have enough time, this? this was just piss poor planning. however, i must say they had the most interesting take I've ever seen on Satan, and the reason behind this very important event that happens is a huge plot twist i didn't see coming in the least bit. in sort this adventure starts off with a bang and fizzles out in the end, but it still is interesting enough to hold your attention all the way to the end, so it wasn't un watchable by any means, although i give it no awards in its category.

Btooom! (TV) Good
C – Control – The Money and Soul of Possibility (TV) Very good
Call of the Night (TV) Excellent
Campione! (TV) Good realistically when broken down this series is really just barley a "desent" rating. However, i'm personally a huge fan of greek mythology and all that type of stuff which is why i found it to be a very good series. the fighting system they use at first seems a bit odd but they explain and play it out very well, they keep you interested the whole time and they cast is quite colorful of course there are some typical harrem moments but people who complain about them annoy me,it really doesn't hurt the series at all unfortunately, one season does not do this story idea/plot any sort of justice though, it has so many things waiting to develop that it would be extremely disappointing to have it end how it does, which is basically as open ended and ready for season 2 as it gets. Overall i found this series to be quite enjoyable the strong male lead is a personal favorite with enough comedy to lighten the mood and a great history lesson.

A Certain Magical Index (TV) Good things this show did well- good plot twists. plenty of fresh story ideas. problems with this season- it seemed to get a little bit off track and too random at times. so, a certain magical index starts off really strong with the the main character meeting index, events ensue and you're like oh shit its only episode 8/24 and shits getting real. and then poof. something happens and the story seems to completely shift away from what the main first 1/3 of the show was about! and at first glace, i was like wtf brah?!? but if you take a few seconds and pay attention things are playing out on a much slower pace then most shows do, events that seem like random slice of life junk turn out to link up with things later on, so in that sense i cant really complain. though i do wish the main characters power was a bit more offensive he is actually a bad ass occasionally, and honestly considering his power is essentially 100% defensive he isnt the pussy most main characters would be in his situation which is nice, but his awesomeness is spread across much filler. when you put it all together this show as basically nothing to complain about but it didnt really blow me away. If you're looking to get someone into a more "anime-ish" side of anime (you know they magic and nerdy stuff) then this is a great starting place as it doesn't lay it on too thick, but it does introduce some very typical aspects used in more nerdy types of anime. if you're looking for something to start that has a bit more length then your average 12-24 episodes id definitely say a certain magical index is the way to go. it wont blow you away, but you certainly wont be upset you watched it all. on a side note, one thing about this series that stood out to me is the moral arguments they have before fights. they are actually much more back and forth and emotionally charged then your typical say, DBZ 3 episode chat before a fight. no, see, these are actually well constructed debates between two opposite points of view, so it is definitely worth a mention as it was quite enjoyable.

The ending was pretty epic, but the last scene was really vague and i haven't decided if i liked it or not as of yet.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (movie) Good what this movie did well- amazing animation and fight scenes. problems with this move- they made cloud kinda a pussy i am a huge FF7 fan and i have to say this is one of the coolest continuations of that story thing. However when it comes down to it, advent children was good enough for me, but i wasn't blown away. first off im just going to say you need to see the extended blue ray addition because it clears up some very important things and quells much of the rage you may experience. as we go through the story truthfully the pacing was a little meh for me. the story plot itself was pretty cool and made for a epic orgy of action at the ending but you spend large amounts of the beginning watching cloud pout in self pity and get his ass kicked, you learn a little more about his life and then poof cloud seems to lose yet again. well damn it that's not the cloud i remember, he finally comes around near the end though and the old crew comes together in what i though was an awesome last third of the movie. i would highly recommend playing the crisis core psp game or at least looking up a summary of it because this movie definitely assumes you already know TONS of information. yet provids enough for you in the background so you can still get into the movie had you had no prior knowledge to the series. overall the action scenes were some of the best ive seen and they manage to keep your attention the whole way through with its impressive design id say most everyone will enjoy watching it at least once.

(TV) Decent the first handle full of episodes really pull you into this one but its excitement was rather short lived. the whole middle of the series more or less drug on a bit too long, the actual story and characters are great it just seems like it takes forever for anything to' happen, the action was also slightly lack luster when it was cool, it was cool, but not for very long. Battles ended quickly and the main bad guy was always invincible like, stop shooting at his shield and think of something else cuz that clearly isnt working. That being said overall the characters and settings are very enjoyable and they put enough comedy in it to let you relax from time to time, i would definitely recommend giving it a watch.
Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory (TV) Excellent
Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid (TV) Good pound for pound this season was in almost every way better then the first the action was better the story was better the only problem they ran into was the last few episodes they just kind of drug out the inner conflict they created caused by one of the most irritating reasons, lack of communication. but in short this season was action packed and interesting i definitely didn't lose my time
Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu (TV) Very good they totally switched gears with this season and they did a great job of it. while chittories usual moments do get a bit old this entire season was hilarious, some of my favorite moments in anime so far. why they didn't just toss a few of these episodes into season 1 to lighten it up was completely beyond me but at the very least i can say this was totally worth my time!

(The) Future Diary (TV) Very good We start out following yuki, initially an anti-social pussy, who keeps a diary of everything he see’s. ya know just cuz. Its not until his imaginary friend dues ex macina turns out to be a god, and for some reason is dying that’s when things get interesting. in order to find a suitable air to his throne he drafts 12 questionably unstable humans into a death game where the last man standing gets his throne. In this game, each character has been keeping a diary of something, yuno for example stalks yuki and records everything in her diary, So yuno gets 10 minute updates on whatever it is yuki is doing at all times. in the game everyone’s diary is essentially fast-forwarded to the future another example is a cop who keeps case results in his diary is given the future information on all of his cases. Ect. The game is full of alliance betrayal and plot twists all while yuki struggles to figure out if yuno is a psychopathic killer, or the love of his life. I have to say, although the death game is used quite a bit, I don’t ever get tired of them, this series does a rather good job at standing out though, largely due to everybodies favorite questionably unstable girl yuno, but we’ll cover her later. Throughout the whole series it did a good job of sticking to its own rules, although you can always find a few “wait, why didn’t they just…” moments its attempt to keep things constantly moving are a success, although you could argue it becomes slightly predictable as yuki basically walks into a bad situation because hes dumb and yuno gos on a bloody rampage to get him out of the situation. That being said, how yuno go’s about doing it changes every time. She doesn’t just mash B until everyone dies, so all in all it doesn’t bring down the enjoyment level of the series all that much. As you play through the game its clear that some numbers are throw always, they show up and get off’d and they do their job, giving the series its sudden and dramatic action, however, a few characters stick around and have much more screen time than others, and these supporting characters have some of the best one liners ive seen in quite some time, supplying much needed comic relief and distract you from the fact that yuki sucks. The best aspect of this show however, has to do with the pacing. Whereas most shows either end smack in the middle of a cliff hanger, or become insanely episodically, future diary manages to blend them very well making it not only easy, but very desirable to sit down and watch all 26 episodes. It sucks you in and your curiosity forces you to watch another episode. Regardless of how the last one ended. Which combined with my addiction to marathoning anime, obviously go’s on the positive side of the equation. Although one disappointing side note is how the little after the episode wrap up idea started off actually giving you some realistic and helpful information, and then quickly becomes a giant waste of time. Funny as it may be, it’s a shame they didn’t utilize that feature more then they did. CHARACTERS Basically the only two characters you need to know about are yuki and yuno as they are the focus 99% of the time, everyone else I would consider a side character, and although well done, im not going over all 15 of them for you. First up is yuki. Unfortunately, yuki is one of those sissy I wont kill anyone or be badass character type, though I must admit he does get better, his lack of proactivity and hesitations bring many scenes down and honestly anything bad I point out, will generally be his fault. He cries all the time, get the groups into awful situations, and generally fails at life. That being said, when he does actually do something manly, it’s a wonderful surprise, though his character changes little until the last 7ish episodes. Once he does man up, its pretty damn awesome. Yuno however is another story. Her mother was fucking psychotic, and her father not wanting to deal with her starts working late. However she becomes crazy attached to yuki, and I do mean crazy attached, he is essentially her only source of happiness, and becomes the absolute perfect girlfriend, protective, caring and unwavering in her loyalty. So what’s the problem right? Yeah she’s fucking crazy as shit. Going exactly too far to keep him safe if need be, or perhaps kill his parents if they don’t approve of her. This absurdly over protective attitude coupled by her absolutely brutal killing abilities of course, cause yuki to be slightly hesitant in trusting her which, as the viewer you know yuki should just shut up and let yuno carry him through the game, but from his perspective. The phrase “proceed with caution” doesn’t even scratch the surface. Which brings me to another huge aspect of the future diary, very often, that is often enough to put a little star next to this paragraph you will find yuki debating on whether or not to trust yuno. Which would be fine, but they’ll be in life or death struggles so the timing is rather annoying. as you will find out if you watch the future diary, yuno is yukis only hope of not dying plain and simple. So it becomes slightly ridiculous when he even thinks about not listening to her. Because yuno is always right, at the end there’s a plot twist that explains why yuno is always right so there is a good reason for her odd nack for always being right, but that’s not the point. The series would have went a lot smoother if he had just decided to use her from the beginning. I mean he still does, but he doesn’t admit to it. WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN?!?! The future diary overall is enthralling, though yukies issues bring it down the pacing and plot is done out well enough that you can cruise through all 26 episodes without much issue. Though many of the characters backstories are simply brushed on, theeeeey are pretty dark, and extremely depressing. However, that gives them all unique reason for their desire to become god, making each new rival different from the last. The plot twists they start busting out near the end coupled with yuki finally becoming a likable character had this on the fast track to an excellent rating, unfortunately, although the ending wasn’t bad, I would liken it to the elfin lied ending. You pretty much know what happens and it’s a happy ending, and had they just showed how things played out a little more I would have been content. But no, they make you assume. Which is some real shit. BUT in the end the future diary’s death game turns out to be well worth the watch with the positives greatly out weighing the benefits. Personally I believe that compairing all animes to the same scale is impractical (how can you even try to hold clannad and highschool of the undead to the same standards?) so my scale is based entirely off of my own gut feeling and after watching magical flip phones help mentally scarred humans slaughter each other to claim the throne of god while dodging every plot twist IED imaginable. I give the future diary a respective 8.7/10 I find the future diary to be highly underrated, this show though not yet out on blu ray can be found on dvd and I highly recommend going to amazon and purchasing it, currently part one and two are separate. Although if you prefer I’m sure streaming it off a site such as crunchy roll would be cheaper, though the current price is high dropping around $60 for this show isn’t as unreasonable as most $60 buys.

Girls Bravo (TV) Not really good more of a comedy then anything else, not much of a story to speak of, i get the story was basically about the main love interest relationship progression but they could have been more creative, basically its alien girl creates a problem because she doesnt know any better and then everyone is saved blah blah blah, they more or less pulled a bad guy outta no where at the end as well, still a decent romantic comedy that's worth your time. however the ending after the credits basically sets it back up for square one, which is a little irritating.
Girls und Panzer (TV) Very good Girls und panzer follows the life of miho, in a world where tankery is a tradisional feminine sport in which school compete in tank verse tank battles. Miho however, has had a rather shakey past with tankery, she comes from a long line of tankery with all of her family being hard core followers of the nishizumi style. But she makes a point to change schools to one without a tankery program, unfortunately for her its not long before the student council pops up and forces her to join the newly re founded tankery club! The rest of the season follows miho together with her new group of friends as they refurbish the old clubs tanks, get settled into their appropriate tank positions and train hard in between matches with other rival schools in hopes to make a name for themselves and above all, have fun! Unlike the great majority of animes ive seen id have to classify girls und panzar as more of a spectator adventure type of a watch. And yes, I’m fairly sure I did just make that phase up, now what I mean by this is character development background and side stories have very little to do with this one, giving it almost zero depth aside from a few relatively glossed over yet unique back stories that ill cover in the character section. But on that same note they conveniently state almost all the traits that describe the characters arc type iin the first episode, then they character becomes somewhat of a stereo type of whatever role they are playing. And all though that may sound like I’m making it out to be negative, that is not the case at all. By wrapping up what usually takes the most time and can be the touchiest subject in a matter of minutes they are left with plenty of time to give you what you really want when you put this series in. teenage girls and tank battles. All of which, become rather enthralling experiences as you root for the underdog to win against ridiculous odds. Now let me take a brief second to talk about realism here, personally when I watch anime I don’t look for it that often, I merely look for said anime to abide by the laws of the universe the show has set up for me, but if you are a hard core tank nut, and expect to see military channel grade tank fights, this isn’t what your looking for. They already have these things called documentaries for that. No what girls und panzer brings to the table are nimble tanks capable of any maneuver the driver has enough skill to pull which makes for a much more action oriented show. Which brings me to how pleasantly surprised I was at the pacing, battles weren’t resolved in mere 10 minute show downs, on occasion they took place over multiple episodes and with well thought out ups and downs that kept it from becoming repetitive as a series. All and all the only thing that I could have ask for was perhaps more character personality and a love interest but both of these would have most likely bogged down the shows rpg like feel and thus were promptly kept out of season 1 CHARACTERS Miho neshisumi perhaps the best and worst this show has to offer, as I said before she has a shaky history with tankery even though she remains rather skilled as a tank commander, the best way to describe her is a soggy noodle. She’s shy, submissive and quite. But this also gives her a cool calculating demeaner, although in a series like this I would have preferred a charismatic speech giving hardass for a leader, that’s simply not who miho is and although I don’t love it she stays true to her character making her much more believable as teenaged girl commanding tanks rather then a artificially constructed anime character built to lead the underdogs to victory. Next we have Saori Takebe she is the boy chasing fame seeker of the group, these delusions of granger often take up almost all her thought when shes not busy in the tank as the radio operator, or giving other women dating tips, while she herself has never actually dated anyone. The second best friend of miho Hana Isuzu, she is one of the few characters that actually has a set up backstory that has anything to do with anything, she comes from a family of flower arrangements, gentle delicate. Ect, so needless to say when mom finds out she’s been riding around with the tank club as mihos gunner, her family is less then pleased with her decision. To round out the team they also add Yukari Akiyama a usually quiet girl who just so happens to have a secret tank fetish and is absolutely crazy about any sorts of military anything, out of everyone else however she remains one of the most useful as she often partakes in black op recon missions for the team on and off the battlefield. Finally, we come to my personal favorite character Mako Reizei. Her reason n for joining the club is slightly more personal as her low blood pressure gives her a tendency to fall asleep all the time and waking up in the morning is nearly impossible, which leads to her being constantly late and thus, needing the rewards the student council is offering for those who excel in the tankery course. She is a borderline genius and is slightly cynical but her sarcasm and brilliance is an excellent addition to the team. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?! Overall girls und panzar wins points for its fun light hearted adventure story, coupled with great tank combat and well thought out pacing, although its characters and background may leave something to be desired youre given enough to get you by and with talk of a season two this show can only get better from here on out, although its not the most realistic anime, it trades its realism for action, while in an attempt to add some realistic touches it expertly models each school off a different countries fighting style and general stereotypes with adds a sense of personality to each battle that’s fought. Personally I believe that comparing all animes to the same scale is impractical (how can you even try to hold clannad and highschool of the undead to the same standards?) so my scale is based entirely off of my own gut feeling and after watching a group of teenage girls get behind the wheel of a multi-million dollar killing machine and still manage to come off adorable I give it a 8.25/10 if your looking for something easy to follow and fun to watch I highly recommend going to amazon and purchasing it whenever you feel, although if you prefer I’m sure streaming it off a site such as crunchy roll would be cheaper, but in my opinion girls und panzar is worth the sticker price.

Haganai (TV) Good haganai is definitely a great idea in hiding for most of the season. overall you get yourself a directional slice of life comedy, to further explain, they start up a club for people who have no friends and through random events and much fucking around they cobbled together a group of friends poof we made a group now, let the comedy begin! and that's what you think you're getting until the last third of the season snaps into this well rounded character developing frenzy, background detail are unveiled and plot devices come to light, definitely saving this series from the "its another slice of life comedy" to a "its actually pretty decent" throughout the show the jokes they pull out are so extreme an unexpected that its hard to describe, but there shock value alone is enough to make you laugh. overall if you're looking for something a but more relaxed and humorous haganai pretty much fits the bill to a T.
Haganai NEXT (TV) Good
Heaven's Lost Property (TV) Decent This series in general was very funny and had good potential to have a great story, but they took the pervy comedy and ran it into the ground, and never really went into the story they could have. overall enjoyable but it coulda been much better.
Heaven's Lost Property Forte (TV) Decent This series in general was very funny and had good potential to have a great story, but they took the pervy comedy and ran it into the ground, and never really went into the story they could have. overall enjoyable but it coulda been much better. not to mention the shitty harrem ending -_-
Heaven's Lost Property: Project Pink (OAV) Not really good more standard pervy comedy..... the same jokes over and over again while only 3 minutes actually pertain to the story progression. in short funny, but i would just read the wiki summary.
Heaven’s Lost Property the Movie: The Angeloid of Clockwork Very good Things this movie did well- Original fresh comedy. Finally addresses story plot. adds great new character. problems with this movie- open ended type ending. spend to much time developing relationships in the harrem with second/third place girls. still left a few too many questions. Talk about a pleasant surprise. The movie makes more sense if you've seen the series before hand, however this movie does about an hour of recap for you, which was rather enjoyable. by cutting out allot of the non-sense they managed to give you a good clear summary without dragging you through all the ridiculousness. Once the movie starts to really get going its actually extremely interesting. the giant story they build up then managed to ignore through two seasons is address. Its to nobodies surprise that this turns out to be interesting as fuck. why they didn't expand on it until now is beyond me, but i digress. Anyways, they decided to take a view point of a whole new character who turns out to be everything you could want. as far as i'm concerned she was a great addition to the cast, although the harrem is getting a bit out of hand now it doesn't take away from the overall feel the movie gives. they finally got away from the perverted comedy for a few seconds to make some original jokes that were genuinely funny, playing largely on how dumb delta was. This turned out to be hilarious and well done all around. It is needless to say that this is a glimmer of promise for what this series could/should become. if they were to expand on the series with the kind of mindset that they had while writing this one there is no doubt that it'll be a great watch.

High School DxD (TV) Very good alright so lets get this out in the open. this is an ecchi series. are there tons of boobies everywhere? yes. does the perverseness and nudity occasionally take the seriousness out of the situation? yep. does it make for a fun to watch series? your god damn right it does! the first thing that hits me about this series is the dialog. the way they wrote it is much more realistic then maturing the conversation up. the terms they use are hilarious and they make sure not to run the jokes into the ground like heavens lost property did. mover over, i was worried they gave up on the action after that first little bit early in the season, but oh no. they were just saving it up for the end. they chess system they use is actually one of my favorite team battle systems ive ever come across. coupled with fun characters and a surprisingly strong story this series is a great options, short enough to watch in a day, and awesome enough not to disappoint. and to those who disagree, "suck it, douche bag"

High School DxD New (TV) Very good all the ridiculous nudity the first one had,but this time we learn all sorts of fun story details they finally go into some background stories of the other house members and i have to say it didn't disappoint, they set up so much though as a season it mite be a little meh but what it did for the series is set the scene for some much needed action, hopefully the main character mans up like he did in season one, in the third season.
High School of the Dead (TV) Very good An unexpected twist on a great classic, the characters mite be a bit standard but would you bake a cake with cement mix? no the recipe for a good cake works every single time and it doesnt take away from the series at all. the comedy is top notch i have to say i was really into the series from start to finish, rarely a part i wasn't laughing or cheering at during the whole season.

The story pacing as you go feels great but as soon as you're thinking to yourself "alright everything's finally set up lets go" it ends. on a side note the best friend character was also a huge bitch for most of the show which was irritating but hopefully a second season is in store.

First off there is no story to speak of, period its basically 12 episodes of hey i'm gunna shove your face in my tits and your going to make a fuss about it but haha oh well, i love you.... NO GOD DAMN IT they give you NO background at all, they give you NO conflict at all, hell they didn't even get creative when it came to the main lover trying to get with Kota. not to mention i've seen better porno scrips then this series pathetic dialog. it had like 2 minutes of actual funny comedy per episode and honestly had i not committed to watching the full thing i would have stopped 3 episodes in.

Needless (TV) Good Needless review Needless takes place in a post WW3 Tokyo in a district referred to as the black spot, something of a giant bomb creator that creates a giant black spot on the map when viewed from space at night. Within this spot due to a complicated situation, certain people obtain fragments of gods’ power that allow them to wield a single ability ranging from fire to gravity manipulation. The story follows Cruz Schild, formerly part of a resistance fighting an obsessive drug company boasting an impressive collection of powerful needless who have recently moved there headquarters into the black spot. Events ensue and he ends up joining forces with blade and eve two rather powerful characters, unfortunately for them Simeon is plotting and undenounced to blade, he is at the center of it all. The story follows Cruz Schildand and his group while they casually build up allies on their unintentional path to thwarting Simeons plans. So, heres the thing about needless. The concept of the story and the overall tone of the show was actually pretty solid. BUT FOR WHATERVER REASON good pacing seems to be hard to come by. For the first quarter of the series things progress relatively well with all the rules of the universe being set up and for the most part being followed, the tone for the series was also set early on and to its credit it give you exactly what the description on the back says. Action comedy with a healthy dose of fan service Although duly note they go way out of the way to prevent actual nudity, for example*show clip* how the fuck is this still on?! Its not even attached to anything! Ugh, Anyways, what’s important to consider before watching needless is this anime doesn’t really take itself seriously. Which does provide much of the comedy allowing for spontaneously ridiculous moments that to its credit are rather humorous, unfortunately this backfires when the shows tries to be serious or emotional. The tone just isn’t right and the whole scene tends to come off slightly awkward. As for the middle 12ish episodes I am torn slightly, seeing as I have a marathoning problem when I watch a series I tend to WATCH the series, so as I’m viewing the middle chunk the constant up and downs of the fights, the bouncing back and forth between being doomed and a miracle saving them just got tiring and stale, but if you take into consideration that this would have aired weekly I most likely wouldn’t have had this issue so I can’t count that against them. No, what I will count against needless is it’s descion to save all the good background and tender story details until the very end! I absolutely hate when important details are held until the last portion of a series. What they should have done to break up the constant DBZ style fighting was pepper in some of the good background stuff I mean the GOOD stuff. While watching I was able to knock out the first disk no problem, the second disk felt like it just dragged on and I was forcing myself to finish so I could start something else, but the last disc flew by! It was great, a good balance of story and action, finally you learn important details and interesting things are happening! It was a much needed breath of fresh air to say the least and it’s what really brought this shows rating back up for me personally. but what really makes this series is the characters, more specifically Blade and Eve but once I go over them and you get a feel for the group dynamic you’ll know what I mean. CHARACTERS Starting with Cruz Schild more commonly called yamada thanks to eve he is essentially a useless, his only real talent is coming up with plans or seeing through certain tricks but these ideas tend to come slightly too late for more to consider him “clever” that being said he does bring some insight to a fight every now and then Adam blade on the other had is much more suitable to be a protagonist. He is insanely strong due to reasons that are FINALLY explained around episode 20 and he is an all-around bad ass. His only weakness however is young women, which the show uses as an excuse to provide more fan service however his all around tough guy feel and self-centered personality make him a very likeable character coupled with his special fragment and speech patterns he is the clear MVP of the show. Eve is your classic dim witted strong girl who has a very hard time remembering names which is why many characters often go by the wrong name the series, he doppelganger ability lets her transform her body into anything so long as she has plenty of calories to work with. Unfortunately her origins are not explained until the later episodes as well. Her over the top outbursts of anger provide a lot of the comedy while her ability to hold her own in fights makes her useful in most situations. Disk, a half cyborg young girl who helps with all the hacking and acts as the Wikipedia of the series Teruyama Momiji a dude who has the same enemy as the blade crew Solva a bipolar nice girl who actually wants the black spot to bow down before her, she previously was the leader of a gang until blade and Seto a money hungry mercenary with the ability to warp gravity defeated her all of these basically exist for the same purpose, to help even the odds of the battles that constantly occur and help break up the main fight with other minor fights none of their background stories are ever really discussed As for the baddies Adam arc light is the top dog fancying himself the one true god and having the powers to pretty much back it up, unfortunately his background story isn’t reviled until later either so I would consider it a spoiler to tell you much like blade and eves stories. Ironically enough it’s the girls squadron that fights blade and tends to give the main group the most trouble consisting of mio a super strong adorable little girl whom blade is of coursed obsessed with Setsuna better known as stripes is the super-fast leader of the bunch and Kuchinashi the mute blonde who’s fragrance fragment proves surprisingly useful. SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN Needless is a fun idea but doesn’t quite live up to what It could have been, sloppy story execution leads to uneven entertainment, however the fan service is rather impressive with large volumes not bringing the show down an obvious plus for the series, the comedy they bring to the table is at times excellent with their one liners getting me to literally laugh out loud but by the time they tried to snap back into serious mode it just didn’t have the right feel. As for the fights they reminded me a lot of a combination of DBZ and Pokémon every move had a name and was of course screamed before the technique could work, and on multiple occasions people were embedded into a cement wall after a brutal hit. Mind you it looks cool but I can never tell who’s winning which hits were critical and how badly someone’s hurt because they always just get back up. Unless they are killed, there is no in-between. They either are impaled on a stake and dead, or get right back up, causing fight scenes to drag on for much too long. All that being said the last quarter of the series managed to grab your attention back and become rather interesting in short this series has excellent fan service, well done comedy, plenty of action and a cool story idea but poor pacing really knocked it down a notch. THE VERDICT Personally I believe that comparing all animes to the same scale is impractical (how can you even try to hold clannad and high school of the undead to the same standards?) so my scale is based entirely off of my own gut feeling and after watching a loli obsessed demi god make the sissy protagonist the community whipping boy then battling the elite 4 with a lvl99 magicarp I give needless a generous 7/10 SIDE NOTE From what ive read about the manga it seems like that would actually be really good better then the anime perhaps, I may consider reading it in the near future

OniAi (TV) Decent things this show did well- sexual comedy was hilarious things this series lacked- everything else oh boy, where to start. well, this show is one giant sexual joke. its from the writers of baka and test which overall has minimal perverted comedy, my theory for this is as they were righting baka every time they though of a sex joke they stashed it in a book until finally there like HA! fuck it lets turn this into an anime. that being said it was a real shame they didn't try to flush this out into an actual story, around the last few episodes suddenly it took a turn for the "what an anime should actually try and do" this were adressed there was a point to there action and it was a fun suprise, which almost makes you sad because you end up like ugh, come on guys. you couldn't have started like this?! overall this series was never meant to be serious and it isn't at all, its repetitive episode plots made it impossible to marathon and with no dub out you cant play it in the background making it overall probably worth skipping.

(TV) Very good This series was shockingly fun to watch, personally i fell in love with this story, as well as all the characters. its got the perfect amount of humor while you go along learning about the world and characters and just when you're ready for some action the main guy opens up a can of whoop ass. the part that really got me hooked was his amazing strategy and cleverness coupled with the fact he seems to be the strongest and fastest in every situation . while you could sit there and complain about how its dumb hes better then everyone else, its much more fun to just appreciate how much of a bad ass he is. the only real negatives is they didnt have the time to give you all the background info you wanted, but when season 2 eventually roles around im sure this series has the potential to be a masterpiece.

Psycho-Pass (TV) Very good
Psycho-Pass (movie)
Psycho-Pass 2 (TV)
Puella Magi Madoka Magica (TV) Decent this show was a huge mind fuck at the end, the first 9 episodes you find yourself questioning many things and then it hit you like a truck once you figure out a few key details, there was no comedy in this show to really speak of but it was rather fun to watch, the childish setting really held it back, and i wasnt a huge fan of the witches mazes, although i feel like ive done acid now... the sad parts of the show were ment to have a much bigger emotional impact but it wasnt really sad enough to bring out a man tear more of just, damn, shes dead, now what? that being said over all it was worth my time but it was a bit too sad and you really only need to watch the last 5 episodes coupled with no comedy or fan service and meh music it was just decent

(The) Rising of The Shield Hero (TV) Excellent
Rosario + Vampire (TV) Good a little lacking for action but its a great set up season for the series as a whole. the series in general scores most of its points on humor while there is still enough of a story to keep you interested most of the time.
Rosario + Vampire Capu2 (TV) Good better then the first season but still scores its points the same way its funny its interesting a bit more actiony but it has some annoying nagging habits that keep the series out of the excellent category overall im glad i watch it but i much prefer the manga

Sekirei (TV) Good this season was more of a "set up the situation" type of deal the action is meh and i felt while the game itself is a really cool concept, the rules were a bit too set in stone, it doesnt really leave a whole lot of suprises or loopholes to exploit for the main group, that being said, it was funny, interesting, and does its best not to be predictable overall worth your time.
Sekirei: Pure Engagement (TV) Good much more interesting then the first season, the fighting was a little better but overall each girl has like 2 fighting options, aside from a few hand to hand fights. however i must say i wasnt bored by the story, the characters developed well however, the series is hinging off a 3rd season let us all join hands and pray it comes.

Shakugan no Shana (TV) Decent alright so, this first 12 episodes of this series were a (good rating) loved them the next 11 (so-so) were completely fucked up when they dropped a second love interest into the mix it borderline just pissed me off because it caused such a huge rift in the story. however, the last episode saved it(very good rating) and set up the next season to be better then the first i hope. a few problems this series had was the things they should have taken more time to draw out happened in like 2 seconds the flow of ideas was great but there transitions were very jagged, the drama was almost too much to take and most fights werent very awesome coupled with no comedy really brings this rating down. but luckily for them the series was interesting enough too keep me watching and the set up for season to promises it to be much more enjoyable.
Shakugan no Shana III (Final) (TV) Good
Shakugan no Shana Second (TV) Good never have i enjoyed being pissed off for 24 episodes of any series ever. here is my problem when it comes to this series, i love the characters, i love what there trying to do, i love the turning points in the story, however, i am ashamed at how terrible they pace out events, everything that should play a back seat role ends of taking so long to get resolved it honestly tires you out, it seems like every damn episode a knew problem comes up you can never just lay back and be happy stuff got figured out, coupled with no real comedy to speak of. also it seems like the second love interest is just there to cause problems, its getting ridiculous however the final episode hinted at him choosing who he should have in the first episode of this season. in short i was pissed at nearly every episode and the action was just a bunch of flashy light shows. however, love the series and what its about

Trigun (TV) Good what this series did well- silly comedy. fun characters. vash occasionally was a badass. Problems with this anime- vash was a super pussy most the time. the ended was painful. Alright, what we have here are 26 episodes of what is overall a pretty neat idea. however its basically split into two totally separate monsters. for the first 13 episodes you go along without any background information on any characters, nor do you really have a clear story goal. basically its a light comedy where people try to kill vash for the bounty, no surprises there. and had they kept this going it would have still been an alright series. through out these first episodes you do however figure out one important fact. vash is pretty damn bad ass, and more often than not, he's going to find a way out. unfortunately hes is such an enormous pussy, he refuses to kill anyone, even in situations where one bullet would save the day and end the problem, nope cant kill people just cant do it nope nope nope. which, fine i can live with that, it adds to his character and really prevents any sad deaths from occurring but then we get to the second half of the series where they start dropping bombs on your face. suddenly you learn all this background WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE TO KNOW BEFORE HAND. anyways shit starts getting real and of course vash remains the same, a super bad ass who just happens to be an enormous pussy when it comes to violence. it basically drags on that way untill the final confrontation. perhaps the ending will make up for the short falls of the NOPE it doesn't its as open ended and un fulfilling as ever it leaves you with oh so very many questions. on the positive side of things vash does solve the problems that occur while at the same time making you think about life in a much deeper sense. The characters mesh well although vash is the only thing really holding them together. overall its one of those anime you have to watch, but whether or not you love it is much more based on a personal opinion then most.

Trinity Seven (TV)
Unbreakable Machine-Doll (TV) Very good
Venus to Mamoru (TV) Decent Great love story, but that's about it. there was some humor worth a few laughs but they could have done way better with the story/action balance it was 99% dealing with the main love relationship. overall, worth your time as long as you know what genre you're watching.
