| 07-Ghost (TV) | Very good | A well animated show, with a good plot. Hayami Shou's rendition of Ayanami is amazing, his deep voice making him the perfect commander type. A great show for all. |
| Afro Samurai (TV) | Excellent | A bloody good show, with just enough plot, lots of fighting, and a generally high level of epicness. |
| Afro Samurai: Resurrection (movie) | Excellent | The sequel to Afro Samurai is interesting, to say the least. It has a few aspects from the first show, but may not engage people who didnt watch the prequel. |
| Akira (movie) | Good | Daang. This is the craziest, most breathtaking show ever. I'm not saying it's the best. I'm just saying that it'll leave you speechless. |

| Allison & Lillia (TV) | Good | A quality piece of animation with a fun soundtrack. A great watch, though I found Lilia's character to be...unpleasant. |
| Amagami SS (TV) | Very good | A generally good show, with an icky first opening and rather mushy moments. While the protagonist is an idiot, it still is worth watching, as it is quite fun. |
| (The) Ancient Magus' Bride: Those Awaiting a Star (OAV) | Masterpiece | |
| Angel Beats! (TV) | Masterpiece | One of the finest shows I have ever watched. I might define it as shounen, but it can truly interest people of all ages. It looks great, and has a rather unique and stirring plot. |

| Baccano! (TV) | Excellent | This a very fun show. Tis light-hearted, though it gets more serious near the end. Quite nice. |
| Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts (TV) | Very good | This is ridiculous, and that's what makes it amazing! lol |
| Bakemonogatari (TV) | Excellent | This is a very unconventional show, so be wary of that. Quite intellectual, you really have to think to get some of the jokes. Pretty awesome. |
| Black Butler (TV) | Excellent | A good show, rather dark though. It is very good, and creative to boot. |
| Black Butler II (TV) | Very good | Meh. If you really liked the first and want to see more of the characters go ahead. I just didn't find it to be great. |
| Blade of the Immortal (TV) | Very good | Another samurai anime. Not bad. |
| Bleach the Movie: Fade to Black (movie 3) | Decent | Interesting...though I can't say I remember it that well =/ |
| Bleach the Movie: Hell Verse (movie 4) | Good | Pretty cool. |
| Bleach the Movie: Memories of Nobody | Decent | Ehh..Bleach, though feels a bit like glorified filler. |
| Bleach: Memories in the Rain (OAV) | Good | Fits in well with the story, and is quite nice. I loved it. |
| Bleach: The DiamondDust Rebellion (movie 2) | Good | A great movie, especially if you like Hitsugaya (which you should) |
| Bleach: The Sealed Sword Frenzy (OAV) | So-so | A bit boring to be frank. |
| Blood-C (TV) | Excellent | The first, say, 6 episodes are a bit bland. Then it begins to catch up, and by the end it's like OH MY GOD then it ends. Stupendous. |
| Bloom Into You (TV) | Very good | A surprisingly heartfelt story of yuri love. Much more character development than I expected, would recommend. |

| Castle in the Sky (movie) | Excellent | I'm a sucker for Ghibli stuff. I love the flight, I love the characters, I love the visuals, and I love the nonchalance it can have. It feels like the most Ghibli of the Ghiblis, and it's great. |
| Cat Planet Cuties (TV) | Very good | This is a pleasant, solid show. I'm surprised at the restraint, this could have been the most fanservicey, lame show, but it ended up being pretty nice. You won't regret it if you give it a shot. |

| Eden of the East (TV) | Very good | An interesting work, but nothing makes it ground-breaking. A sort of jack of all trades in anime, it is still definitely worth watching. |

| Eden of the East: The King of Eden (movie) | Very good | A bit mundane with some fun bits scattered around...but it sets up the story for the final showdown, and the end credits sound amazing. |
| Eureka Seven (TV) | Excellent | This captures a relationship that is exhilirating, realistic, and pure. The protagonist is an idiot, and our heroine is naive, but the series is one of the best shounen anime I have ever watched. |

What's not expected is just what a fun time this whole thing is! The execution is solid, the visuals are great, and the music is really strong! It helps it doesn't take itself too seriously. I eagerly await the second season. |

It's a pleasant slice of life that can tug the heartstrings, I recommend it. |

There's a magical element to this that makes seemingly average adventures feel lager-than-life. A great score is just chocolate on the...cake. |

| When They Cry - Higurashi (TV) | Masterpiece | The best series I've ever watched, this scared the bejesus out of me with it's cute cast continually killing each other. This is an amazing prelude to the finale of the Kai arc, but until then, this will psychologically scar you like nothing else. |
| When They Cry - Kai (TV) | Masterpiece | This is simply heart-warming. After the excessive killing of the first season, you feel a certain kinship between the characters, and nothing shocks you more than when another thought to be death scene becomes rescue and rejoice. |
