It was a pretty good children's anime, I think.Tamers, compared to the other digimon series and other children series, was rather dark. This is part of the reason I liked it. When I was younger, I thought it was so cool, and it still kinda is a little, but just not as much. When ever one at my old schools were into Pokemon, I was a big fan of the Digimon series and franchise (Hell, I even learned how to play the rather complicated card game). Digimon also seemed like a early prototype for the .hack series (which I, by the way, love to death^^), while the second prototype seemed to be the very mediocore Dragon Drive. Still, I will always find Digimon better than Pokemon and any anime fan who can sit though a children's anime and not make fun of it should watch Digimon.You just might like it as much as I used to. |
