Bleach (TV) Awful *Nothing but filler, drag-on repetitive episodes* When I kept up with all the unlicensed animes, watching them to see if there were any good new ones, I regretted watching this one. I forget why it originally attracted me, I felt like in the first few episodes they were going somewhere with it. But I was wrong, it just degenerated into the same old 'fighting evil spirits' anime. "Are they still in Soul Society?"
Dragon Ball Z (TV) Worst ever *Nothing but filler, drag-on repetitive episodes* "Are they still on Namek?" Literally, nothing but fighting, looping action shots, powering up, and cheap-overused-three-episodes-long-suspense.
Eureka Seven (TV) Bad Nicely animated, but it's too much of a whine-fest for me to stand it.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG (TV) So-so Nothing but a ghost of it's former self, this interpretation leaves all the attractiveness of the original behind for a pseudo-philosophical bore-fest. The animation's worse (and the cel-shading doesn't do it any favors), and general flow... the balance between action and thought... is ultimately disrupted. Too much talking in ratio to actual action. In the original, it was understandable that there was time in-between for deep discussion, they were always on the move... in this one, there's just too much stop and start. It's jerky in presentation. It just seems to drag on. Nothing special here.
Hamtaro (TV) Worst ever I'm pretty sure I was physically forced to watch this. I would never do it of my own volition, not even out of boredom. I bink I thufferd drain samage.
Inuyasha (TV) Worst ever *Overly dramatic* *Nothing but filler, drag-on repetitive episodes* "INUYASHA! KAGOME! INUYASHA! KAGOME!" How do people settle for this junk?
Naruto (TV) Bad *Overly dramatic* *Nothing but filler, drag-on repetitive episodes* Underage ninjas with colorful jumpsuits, copycatting moves from other animes/movies' fight scenes. 'Nuff said.
Nazca (TV) Not really good It advertised itself pretty cool in the Malcolm in the Middle openings, but it wasn't what I expected. Still alright, but otherwise I wouldn't actively seek this anime.
Noir (TV) Weak Overly sentimental. There's a limit to how much 'sentimental' scenes can be used before it loses meaning and cuts into the action. Between that, the music, and an over-done effort to make the protaganists look slick, this anime got deep under my skin. This is more of a chick flick than anything else.
Yu-Gi-Oh! (TV 1/1998) Worst ever This is nothing less than a blatant advertisement of the Yugioh CCG. Each episode is like a step-by-step tutorial of how to play. This should NOT be called an anime, it's a marketing gimmick.
