Clannad (TV) Excellent Excellent piano stuff. "Sora ni Hikaru" (Shining in the Sky) is terrifically fitting =) "Hurry Starfish" is energetic and fun.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 (TV) Masterpiece "Madder Sky" and "Continued Story" are the two that definitely stands out. The first uses a somewhat simplistic melody to great effect through various orchestration means, while the latter is just amazingly fitting and overall well written; great mix of orchestral instruments with voice.
ef: a tale of memories (TV) Masterpiece EVERYTHING. Tenmon is a GOD, enough said.
(The) Familiar of Zero (TV) Very good "Gandalv" and "Louise" are the especially eye (erm, ear?) catching pieces here. Full of the unique Shinkichi style =)
(The) Familiar of Zero: Knight of the Twin Moons (TV) Good "I Say Yes (Wedding Version)" is absolutely fantastic and extremely fitting to the last episode of the season. "Anxiety" is great too. Plenty of good piano arrangements in here.
Fate/stay night (TV) Very good Ahh... the main theme is very good. One of the few good OSTs that make such good use of the choir and strings.
Inuyasha (TV) Decent Excellent main theme! The composer who also wrote for Kingdom Hearts gives us plenty of sad melodies to wash down whatever teary drama is on screen.
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (TV) Good Symphonic orchestrated stuff done well. Quite unique at the time I watched it actually. Distinctly "western".
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's (TV) Very good Same as season 1, except some of the pieces towards the end got a bit repetitive.
Nabari no Ou (TV) Decent Oh wow... Can you say a heartbreaking main theme? Personally, my favorite arrangement of the main theme is the full symphonic one found at the end of the second OST. Ahh, what a world!
Naruto (TV) So-so Great use of ethnic instruments! The oddest mix of woodwind, percussion, plucked strings, and vocals combine to produce some uniquely refreshing pieces.
Pandora Hearts (TV) So many nice melodies! I really like the style of the music - a nice mix of classical and modern. It's a shame they didn't expand on some of the themes. I'd love to hear 'Turn' fleshed out more. Vocalization is nice.
Rozen Maiden (TV) Masterpiece Mitsumune Shinkichi's flagship OST in my opinion. The serious pieces are all distinctly sad and solid as stand-alone music. "Battle of Rose" is especially memorable in my opinion. Great combination of strings and percussion.
Rozen Maiden: Träumend (TV) Masterpiece See season 1 comments.
Steel Angel Kurumi (TV) Good Wow, really amazing orchestral stuff here... tons of great memorable melodies, and there's a symphony in episode 24!
