| Girl's High (TV) | Perplexingly, this show has a lot of fanservice in it. Surely a show about the ordinary life of high school girls is a show made for girls. Indeed, otherwise that does seem to be the case- which brings up a bothersome issue. I fancy myself a person whose taste is broad enough to encapsulate girlish shows but it may be that my being outside the target audience is why I found the show so unengaging. |
| Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse (TV) | This title is only in my Will Not Finish list because I don't want to watch episodes 16 through 19. I've seen everything else. It's a pretty alright show, really. But it's not exactly hard-hitting (not past the second episode, anyway). I'd almost describe the show as lackadaisical what with how much time our protagonists spend far away from the front lines and action in general. And while I can appreciate the whole "humanity is its own worst enemy" thing the BETA themselves are criminally underutilized. I'm a big fan of space monsters that attack in swarms and have seemingly endless numbers (see also: the bugs from the Starship Troopers films) so for me the BETA were a treat to behold, but they're barely in the show. |

| Space Dandy (TV) | I don't know if this show is good or bad. Just that, in any case, it isn't for me. (Fantastic English dubbing, though. Seriously, if there's any reason I'd go back and watch more of this show it would be to enjoy the voice work.) |
