Bleach (TV) Decent
Gintama (TV) Very good
Inuyasha (TV) Good
Naruto (TV) So-so
One Piece (TV 1999) Excellent Great shounen fun that doesn't derail itself with lots of fillers.
Pokémon (TV) Not really good As a kid I really enjoyed the first season, the Orange Islands, and Johto League Champions before it got so atrociously repetitive that I couldn't get myself to keep watching.

Afro Samurai (TV) Very good Amazing visuals and unique character designs despite the heavily cliched and mediocre plot, story, and characters. But hey, it's only 5 episodes.
Appleseed (movie) Very good
Appleseed: Ex Machina (movie) Very good It's great to just turn your brain off (you kind of have to 'cause the story and plot is just way too simple and predictable) and enjoy a good slick CG action flick.
Baccano! (TV) Masterpiece
Black Blood Brothers (TV) Decent I liked the Korean ending song
Black Lagoon (TV) Excellent
Black Lagoon: The Second Barrage (TV) Excellent
Blood+ (TV) Very good
Claymore (TV) Very good All the shounen action without the shounen length and a primarily female cast with plenty of blood and gore. Ends with enough to look forward to if they make a second season.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (TV) Excellent
Comedy (OAV) Masterpiece
Cowboy Bebop (TV) Masterpiece
Cowboy Bebop: The Movie Masterpiece Vincent's custom Strayer Voigt Infinity is just badass. Spike's Jericho 941 is almost pale in comarison. Okay, there's more to this movie than just firearms. It's more of the same from the television series but with some of the most amazing action scenes ever animated, as well as some great use of CG. Along with a unique plot, story, and new characters, this movie is one of the best action movies I've ever seen.
Death Note (TV) Excellent
Dragon Ball Z (TV) Good
Eden of the East (TV) Masterpiece
Eureka Seven (TV) Excellent
FLCL (OAV) Masterpiece
Fullmetal Alchemist (TV) Masterpiece
Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo (TV) Excellent
Gantz (TV) Very good
Gasaraki (TV) Very good
Getbackers (TV) Very good
Ghost Hound (TV) Masterpiece
Ghost in the Shell (movie) Excellent
Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (movie) Excellent The story and plot leaves much to be desired and can be difficult to follow. Lots of quoting from philosophy that's easy to get lost in and may not seem like anything new to fans of cyberpunk literature. Visuals however are just stunning and easily some of the best animation I have ever seen in an animated movie.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (TV) Masterpiece Amazing music, amazing visuals, almost seamless blend of cel-shaded CG and 2D animation, great storytelling and characters with a well written overarching plot spread over several stand alone episodes, the best I've seen for a cyberpunk police action drama.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG (TV) Masterpiece
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: Solid State Society (movie) Excellent
(The) Girl Who Leapt Through Time (movie) Masterpiece
GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka (TV) Excellent Hilarious with a lot of great characters and high school drama and deals with a lot of controversial issues. Onizuka's facial expressions are pure gold.
Gungrave (TV) Excellent The first episode gives you an idea what to expect what's going to happen towards the end of the series. The sci-fi elements are weak and feel tacked on to tie it to the game it's based on, but the ending more than makes up for it. The highlights for this show are the well written drama, storytelling, and characterization during the flashback arc with Brandon and Harry, which makes up half of the episodes in this series. This show's ending song "Akaneiroga Moerutoki" also managed to beat some heavy competition from Cowboy Bebop's "Real Folk Blues", Wolf's Rain's "Gravity", Gasaraki's "Love Song", and Rahxephon's "Fledging Dream" to become my favorite ED in a series to date.
Gurren Lagann (TV) Excellent
Initial D (TV) Very good
Initial D: Extra Stage (OAV) Good
Initial D: Fourth Stage (TV) Very good I really liked the new and improved use of cel-shaded CG for the cars and racing scenes. I couldn't care less for the drama and characters any more than previous seasons however.
Initial D: Second Stage (TV) Very good
Initial D: Third Stage (movie) Very good
Jin-Roh - The Wolf Brigade (movie) Masterpiece
Kaiba (TV) Masterpiece
Kino's Journey (TV) Masterpiece
Kurenai (TV) Excellent
Library War (TV) Very good
(The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV) Excellent
Michiko & Hatchin (TV) Excellent
Millennium Actress (movie)
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (TV) Good
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz (OAV) Good
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz Special Edition (movie) Good
Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam (TV) Excellent
Monster (TV) Masterpiece Suspense and drama at it's finest. It takes a lot for a show to go beyond 26 episodes and still hold my interest and this show manages to do just that with 74 episodes.
Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit (TV) Masterpiece
Moyashimon (TV) Excellent
Mushi-Shi (TV) Masterpiece It will either bore you to death or keep you captivated from start to finish by every element of the show from its visuals, characters, and storytelling. I lean towards the latter of course.
Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV) Very good
Nodame Cantabile (TV) Excellent I've never been able to find a good romantic comedy before this show, mainly because I usually don't like romance shows and I hardly find myself really laughing from anime comedies, but this show really held my interest in the characters. Plus I just love the music.
Now and Then, Here and There (TV) Masterpiece
Pale Cocoon (OAV) Masterpiece
Planetes (TV) Masterpiece
RahXephon (TV) Very good
RahXephon: Pluralitas Concentio (movie) Very good
RIN - Daughters of Mnemosyne (TV) Good Lots of violence and sex and often a combination of the two. Storytelling and characters are only mildly interesting, but it has some great animation and action scenes.
Rurouni Kenshin: Trust & Betrayal (OAV) Masterpiece
S-CRY-ed (TV) Excellent
Samurai 7 (TV) Very good
Samurai Champloo (TV) Masterpiece
Serial Experiments Lain (TV) Excellent
Solty Rei (TV) Good
Speed Grapher (TV) Good
Spirited Away (movie) Masterpiece
Spriggan (movie) Very good
Texhnolyze (TV) Masterpiece
Tokko (TV) Decent Lots of blood and some nudity, the story and characters were interesting, but animation is mediocre at best and the ending is a huge cliffhanger.
Tokyo Godfathers (movie) Masterpiece
Trigun (TV) Excellent
Trinity Blood (TV) Good
(The) Twelve Kingdoms (TV) Masterpiece
(The) Vision of Escaflowne (TV) Very good
Wolf's Rain (TV) Masterpiece Great music, amazing visuals, and original concept despite some annoying recap episodes
Wolf's Rain (OAV) Masterpiece
Xam'd: Lost Memories (ONA) Excellent
Yakitate!! Japan (TV) Masterpiece Best. Shounen. Ever.
