Bleach (TV) Very good I don't watch the filler, of course. That aside, I really like Bleach. It does get a little repetitive though as it is very formulaic, and there's not enough character development. Ichigo is an awesome character though!
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (TV) Very good Very good overall, but the it's difficult for me to pay attention during the long fight scenes.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 (TV) So-so I was disappointed with the ending. I guess I was hoping for something a little less... pointless?
Elfen Lied (TV) So-so Extremely graphic. I just finished it today and am still processing it. I may still end up making my rating of it higher.
Fairy Tail (TV) Masterpiece
FLCL (OAV) So-so Okay, I guess? It was entertaining for what it was, but if it had been longer than 7 episodes I don't think I would have had the patience to keep watching it.
Fullmetal Alchemist (TV) Excellent
Fullmetal Alchemist: The Movie - Conqueror of Shamballa Very good
Grenadier (TV) Very good Enjoyable
Gungrave (TV) Not really good Pointless. The ending was disappointing and didn't even really make sense, and I disliked Brandon's character.
Gurren Lagann (TV) Very good Very good overall, and there are some great characters. I was very disappointed that I didn't get to see more of my favorite character though.
Inuyasha (TV) Excellent Besides FLCL, this was the first anime I ever saw in sequence (which is the only way that really counts). I absolutely loved it and couldn't get enough. I watched it again recently and it was as good as I'd remembered it being. This is one of the few anime series that I preferred to watch the English dubbed version (instead of watching it with English subtitles). The English voice actors did a really good job, especially the one that does Inuyasha's voice.
Karin (TV) Very good
Kimi ni Todoke - From Me to You (TV) Excellent I'm finding that I don't like the anime as much as I have the manga. It's got a little bit too much of a "soft summer afternoon" feel to it. I would have preferred to see the style a little bit edgier. At the same time though, I don't think it's an inaccurate interpretation of the manga. It just doesn't have the same "feel" that I had assigned to it when I read the manga.
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi (TV) So-so I really don't remember much of this show.
Naruto (TV) Masterpiece Excellent. The characters are well written and the plot is interesting. The amount of filler, however, was unforgivable (I didn't watch it though, of course).
Naruto Shippūden (TV) Masterpiece It's as good as Naruto. It's a little bit darker, though not in a particularly good or bad way. I'm really sick of this Sasuke business (I never even liked the character to begin with), but the show is still extremely good overall.
Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind (movie) Decent I enjoyed it, though it wasn't particularly enthralling. I probably wouldn't even think to add it to my list if someone asked me for recommendations of anime to watch.
Neon Genesis Evangelion (TV) Bad I am baffled as to why so many people like this show so much. It was unapologetically random and difficult to follow, making it rather tiring to watch. It never properly explained itself, the main character wasn't all that likable, and the plot didn't feel like it was developing... there were just more random things happening.
Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion (movie) Awful I was hoping that this movie would make the time I'd spent watching the television series worthwhile, but it had the opposite effect. I've heard that the writer made this movie to get back at fans who were harassing him, and I must say that this theory sort of makes sense. After it had ended, the person I watched it with and I just sat there in silence for a few seconds. We looked at each other and he said, "Let's never speak of this again," and I agreed.
One Piece (TV 1999) Masterpiece Brilliant. The writer is a genius. The characters are lovable and hilarious, the plot is interesting, and the fight scenes are entertaining. Also, anyone who wants to experience happiness and success in life should take lessons from Luffy. He does everything right: He surrounds himself with people who are smarter than he is, he doesn't take himself too seriously, he dreams big, he has unwavering confidence and fierce determination, he always assumes a positive outcome, and (most importantly) he enjoys the journey.
Paranoia Agent (TV) Bad None of the characters were likable, and I didn't find the episodes particularly entertaining or the plot particularly interesting.
Please Teacher! (TV) Good Weird.
Princess Mononoke (movie) Not really good I don't remember much besides feeling bored. I remember thinking that I could see why some people would like it, but I didn't find it particularly entertaining or thought provoking.
Puni Puni Poemy (OAV) So-so
Rosario + Vampire (TV) Excellent It doesn't feel right to rank shows like this and To Love-Ru on the same scale as many of the other shows I've rated, but I really enjoy them a lot.
Rurouni Kenshin (TV 1996) Very good I don't remember much about it other than that I enjoyed it.
Rurouni Kenshin: Reflection (OAV) Worst ever WORST ANIME EVER. I am not exaggerating when I say that watching this movie ruined the Rurouni Kenshin television series for me, at least until I decided not to consider it part of the story.
Samurai Champloo (TV) Good Pretty good, but the ending didn't make sense.
(The) Slayers (TV) Good Excellent characters, but the plot was a little difficult to follow.
Slayers Excellent (OAV)
(The) Slayers Next (TV) Good
Slayers Premium (movie) Decent
(The) Slayers Revolution (TV) Good
(The) Slayers Try (TV) Good
Slayers: The Book of Spells (OAV) Decent
Spirited Away (movie) Weak I found this movie really boring. It just seemed to drag on. I felt the same way I did when I watched Alice In Wonderland as a kid.
Strawberry Panic! (TV) Decent It's okay, but not much happens. I suppose it's simply a matter of my preferring shōnen.
To Love-Ru (TV) Excellent Enjoyable. Lala is awesome. :D I must say though that the manga is at least 100 times better than the anime. Sure, the anime is fun and all, but it's completely different than the manga in some important ways. For example, the character Haruna in the anime irritates me a lot. The same character in the manga is very likable. Rito is far more likable in the manga as well, and I am able to sympathize with his dilemma instead of being irritated that he's so indecisive (like I am in the anime). Also, both of them are packed with fan service (duh), but the manga actually tells a story instead of making you endure scene after scene of complete ridiculousness and pointlessness (like the anime does).
Trigun (TV) Good First half was really awesome, second half was disappointing.
