I try to add some useful commentary, but let us face it: I am far from perfect.

Seen allRating
5 Centimeters Per Second (movie)Decent (dub), Excellent (sub)
It just begs to be compared with "Voices of a Distant Star" -- which has the same director. While that OAV was about two people who still remain emotionally close, this sixty minute movie is about three people's unrequited love for one another.
Aa Megami-sama: Tatakau Tsubasa (special)Good
parts of it seemed kinda cliched
Ah! My Goddess (TV)Excellent
My initial reaction was to rate it as "Very Good" (9/11), but I'm bumping it up to "Excellent" (10/11) because of the OST.
Ah! My Goddess: The MovieVery good
Air (TV)Good
Air In Summer (special)Good
All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku (OAV)Good
Those wanting a bona fide plot in their entertainment had best temper their expectations.....severely. Curiously enough, the characters are NOT two dimensional. What this series has is action, and plenty of it; while there isn't much in the way of plot, wherever the plot -- or what passes for it -- takes the series (whether it be the beach or outer space), there's more than enough misdirected mayhem to wreck most everything in sight!
Another (TV)Very good
A thriller set in a middle school that definitely needs to be seen twice.
Appleseed (OAV)I saw this (only once, and that was a WAYS back) on the former SciFi Channel. The only thing I can now recall was being pleasantly surprised by how muted and psychological the ending was.
Appleseed: Ex Machina (movie)Good
I liked the ending song.....
Arjuna (TV)Decent
This is not for everyone. Patience, for one thing, is required. This series requires a lot of thinking from its viewer.
Bamboo Blade (TV)Very good
For girls, this is DEFINITELY an antidote to Barbie(TM).
Bartender (TV)Excellent
It ain't moe, and its setting is NOT in a high school! Those two things ALONE make it worthwhile to me! Also, the way the OST segues into the ending sequence is wonderful. Please note that all of the ending sequences are different from each other.
Best Student Council (TV)Decent
don't quite know what to say about this series -- can only recommend watching the first four episodes to determine for yourself whether or not this series is for you. Sorta like brain candy.
Binbou Shimai Monogatari (TV)Very good
The sisters's can-do attitude is quite endearing!
Black Cat (TV)Good (dub & sub)
You can skip the last 4 episodes.....
Bleach the Movie: Fade to BlackVery good
Good plot and GREAT graphics!
Bleach the Movie: Hell VerseExcellent (dub & sub)
For a shonen flick, I was surprisingly moved.
Bleach the Movie: Memories of NobodyGood
The final sequence of fights is anti-climactic -- they rather obviously wanted some screen time for the favorite/memorable characters.
Bleach: The DiamondDust Rebellion - Mō Hitotsu no Hyōrinmaru (movie)Very good (dub & sub)
Who would have thought that a sequel would be better than the first one?
Blood+ (TV)Good
A second viewing of the series is required in order to understand what is alluded to -- but not explicitly explained -- early on in the series.
Blood: The Last Vampire (movie)Good
Blood: The Last Vampire (live-action movie)Good
It's always interesting to see how an anime gets "translated", as it were, with live-action treatment. For myself, seeing the Harvey Keitel look-alike in his trench coat was a jaw-dropping experience. (and speaking of look-alikes, what's with the Steve Buscemi look-alike?) If there was anything that I found truly disappointing, it was that the movie did deviate a bit from the anime movie; and I found that disappointing because the opening scenes of the movie were so faithful to the material.
Blue Gender (TV)Very good
It's a good thing that there's a rather large ensemble cast -- because they drop like flies early on and continue dropping right 'till the end. Another thing -- Laura Bailey demonstrates her versatility both here (voicing Marlene Angel) and in Fruits Basket (voicing Tohru Honda).
Boys Be... (TV)Very good
Credit must be given to both the writer and the director for avoiding most of the romantic comedy clichés.
Bunny Drop (TV)Masterpiece
I have rated it thus because I am of "a certain age" where one looks upon children as being endearing.
(The) Cat Returns (movie)Very good
Very Family Friendly -- child-oriented, but not a turn-off for adults!
Chihayafuru (TV)Very good
The series is like life itself -- you win some and you lose some.
Children Who Chase Lost Voices (movie)Excellent
Chobits (TV)Decent

Will not finishRating
Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu (TV)I will not rate the series because I have not seen it in its entirety. However, I will state my reason for deciding not to finish the series: It is because it continues in a different vein. This is not a continuation of the first series; rather, it is the first series set in an alternate universe -- and in this universe, humor is emphasized to the exclusion of all else. I am not saying that this is a bad thing in a series; I am just saying that this is not my cup of tea.
Kodocha (TV)Not my cup of tea; but since I have not seen all of it, I will not rate it.
Rave Master (TV)Bad
I should explain my point of view. I saw the opening sequence, and my hand AUTOMATICALLY punched the "mute" button. I had to consciously put down the remote for one of the worst 90 second periods of my life. I'm sorry, but I both CANNOT and WILL NOT watch this anime. I'd have to be paid some good $$$ to watch it.
