One of 2 anime on my list where the main character is not "the good guy." The atrocities this main character commits will drop your jaw. In plot, this anime is only surpassed by its second season. |

| Cowboy Bebop (TV) | Masterpiece | *** #1 *** Minimal Plot, most story development is in the last few episodes, and can be episodic without a true continuity. All of which is absolutely insignificant. The cast of characters is what sells Bebop. Deep, real, and well, cool characters that have a signature personality. The greatest character development in any anime ever! Actually that's probably one reason for the other problems, there was no time or need for a heavy twisted plot. |
| Death Note (TV) | Masterpiece | #6 This is the other anime with an antagonist lead. Unlike the other anime, there are no questions this character is bad to the core. You will be upset with some events. This one will shock you over and over and over! Great mystery! |
| Elfen Lied (TV) | Masterpiece | #3 WTF! This anime is WAY on the dark side of the scale! Blood by the bucket, gratuitous nudity, horrific violence, child abuse, animal abuse, tragic lives, and more to leave you cringing. If you can handle it, you will love this one because beyond that stuff is a fantastic story. Very tragic story and ending (sort of). |

| (The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV) | Masterpiece | #4 A very difficult anime to follow! Really! Its not even in chronological order. KEEP IT THAT WAY! You will ruin it if you change the order. Just keep track of the sequence of the episode your watching, and you get the neat effect that the last couple episodes will answer very many questions at once. Crazy twisted plot, great funny characters, excellent ending. |

| Toradora! (TV) | Excellent | #5 This is a high school drama type. It is the only of its type on my list and the only of its type i ever gave a rating better than good. Love-able characters! That's its big catch. Good helping of laughs and tender moments help the story along as well. Otherwise you can kinda guess the plot step by step. It was just plane enjoyable, and certainly belongs here. |
