This series was awesome... that is all I can say about it. That, and I hope that they never license it... and if they do it better be untouched. Subbed is the only way to watch this. One of the best things about the series was the way that they mixed bits and pieces of English in with the traditional Japanese dialog that everyone knows and loves. The drama is gripping, and it is quite funny at some points... there really are no words that describe this series short of "work of genius". |

Series started off at a good pace. When it startes you think it's going to be a normal harem-type anime. After the first episode, you'll realize that's not so. This anime would have recieved a higher rating from me, however towards the middle of the series you begin getting the feeling that it's rushed. So much happens in the last 3-4 episodes that it leaves you wishing it went slower, so you could relish the message. Good comedy, good message. Great plot. |

This anime really kept me entrapt. I was very into it while watching Megami Kohousei. The worst part of this series is how it needed to be twice the length that it was t truthfully tell the story it wanted to. When the end comes, it seems like there should be a lot more than what is given (e.g. it feels like it was cancelled in the middle of the series). |

This is a series where the term ROFL actually applies. There were many moments in this anime where I actually was on the floor, laughing my ass off at the comical goings on. A word to the wise, do not watch this at night... you're bound to wake up any other denizens of your house. In addition to the hilarity that this series has, it brings with it a very good romance, more than a love triange but just as heartfelt. It generally transitions well between the comedy and romance, but it also mixes them together quite well. You might not be able to tell in the beginning, but School Rumble will have you laughing your ass off through much of it, and going "that CAN'T be all" when it ends. Thank God for the second season that starts soon. |
