splotchydivinity's Anime

Will not finish Rating
Blood+ (TV) Weak
I no longer have any plans to even try to finish this. Draculas just don't do it for me...ever.
(La) Corda D'Oro - primo passo (TV) Not really good
I grew up as a classically trained pianist for about 11 years, and I still practice on and off every now and then. This anime does nothing more than highlight mediocre popular pieces that are at best played by average musicians. There are way better renditions out there, but in the end it was a semi-decent watch. I mean, it kept my attention for about 5 episodes, which is better than I can say for quite a few anime out there. Might serve as an okay introduction for younger kids into the classical world, though it is not exactly perfectly accurate.
Eden of the East (TV)
Kurokami The Animation (TV) Weak
Also a very promising show adapted from a Korean manhwa. The idea of dopplegangers isn't used too frequently in either anime or movies (both inside and outside of the Japanese film industry)...I think. Or at least I live under too big a rock to notice other movies/anime that use this theme. In either case, though the main character will need some major growth before I want to virtually strangle him to death, I think this show's animation is top-notch, but not unique. The characters introduced so far make for a balanced cast, the art style is again, not unique, but not bad either. I take my earlier statement back about watching this through the end. It was painful to drag myself through even 8 episodes. I can't take this boring show anymore so will move it to the pile of "never-going-to-watch-again-unless-if-my-life-depended-on-it."
MÄR (TV) Weak
Queen's Blade: The Exiled Virgin (TV) Worst ever
I realized that a good handful of my favorite seiyuus are participating in this project. Actually a lot of big names/very prolific seiyuus are participating... To name a few (and their favorite role of mine): Aya Hirano (Lumiere, Kiddy Grade), Ayako Kawasumi(Lafiel, Banner of the Stars), Mamiko Noto (Masane Amaha, Witchblade), Eri Kitamura (Tatiana Wisla, Last Exile), Hitomi Nabatame (Akira, Special A), Mikako Takahashi (Rushuna Tendo, Grenadier), Rie Kugimiya (Alphonse Eric, Full Metal Alchemist and as Louise Francoise, The Familiar of Zero), Rie Tanaka (Tomoe Marguerite, My Otome), Ryoka Yuzuki (Haruka Suzushiro/Armitage, My Hime/Otome), Sayaka Ohara (Raquel Casull, Scrapped Princess), and last, but certainly not least Yuko Goto (Hikari Hanazono, Special A). I am the owner of a uterus, and though I thought I had the guts to withstand some small amount of fanservice to see such a great voice cast in action, I couldn't do it. This is awful.
Tears to Tiara (TV) Weak
Valkyria Chronicles (TV)
Vampire Knight (TV) Weak
