ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. (TV) Good Let's consider what happens if a fascist utopia is established and national-socialists made trains run on time. What would the life be like? For a groundless fantasy that cannot possibly occur or sustain, this is not so bad.
Aiura (TV) Decent Thighs in 3-minute format.
AKB0048 (TV) Very good Kojiharu: "Not quite! Meet the assault micsaber!". The real Macross Frontier that Kawamori always wanted and was not allowed.
Aria the Animation (TV) Decent Nice, but I was unable to find a character to truly like.
Azumanga Daioh (TV) Masterpiece The greatest series of all times overall, at least for middle-aged men.
Azumanga Daioh - The Very Short Movie Excellent Lavish animation is gorgeous, but the compression of the short format all but eliminates the gateway feeling which made the definitive Azumanga so great.
Azumanga Web Daioh (ONA) Very good I wish they used the original seyuu.
Banner of the Stars (TV) Excellent The best tension of combat ever. Let down by stock reuse.
Barakamon (TV) Good Exactly the personal growth story promised by blurb and PVs. No romance.
Blessing of the Campanella (TV) Good Cretinuous for 8 episodes before getting awesome. Best-dressed cast of the season.
Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan (TV) Bad The vilest anime I have ever watched ... in full.
Bottle Fairy (TV) Decent Sometimes a fairy is just a fairy, Steven.
Bunny Drop (TV) Very good Worries and joys of raising a girl of 6 to 7 by a single father. Sweet and to the point.
Carnival Phantasm (OAV) Decent Parts were amusing, parts were silly, some even poorly made. But they made a point that the richness of the world deserved a fan reel.
Casshern Sins (TV) Good What is one to do when he becomes immortal? There's no answer except that he's screwed. And (almost) everyone die. The End.
Cat Shit One: The Animated Series (ONA) Excellent 3D. This is brilliant, especially the attention to detail. At one time, Paki and Bota walk in a pair, where you rotate to scan every 2 steps. Paki turns in the correct way, while Bota keeps turning wrong way and flagging Paki. And every little bit is like that.
A Certain Scientific Railgun (TV) Weak The portrayal of friendship was well done, but hateful main duo evoke dreams about murdering them. Kiyama was a bonus, well portrayed.
Chobits (TV) Good Overstretched. Also, what about their kids?
Dai-Guard (TV) Very good Characters are real stars. Goes beyond the monster of the week. But... robot goes magical eventually.
(The) Demon Girl Next Door (TV) Good Girls are fine. The anime ends before the manga gets deep and weird.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba (TV)
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train Excellent
Den-noh Coil (TV) So-so The stubble nukes were where I quit.
Denki-Gai (TV) Decent Many unduly crass and mishandled innuendo parts; characters used poorly. However, 06 was very good (watch how Sensei-chan literally cries herself to sleep).
(The) Devil Is a Part-Timer! (TV) Very good Unexpectedly strong execution of a standard plot: a Devil King is more human than some humans. Romance is unresolved.
Dog Days (TV) Very good Action story. An nnime for 12-year-olds that everyone can enjoy.
Dog Days' (TV) Decent Filler.
Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure (TV) So-so The prototypical weak harem lead resurfaced in many shows since this one. Fiesta echoes Mitsuki II, for example.
(The) Eccentric Family (TV) Excellent Excellent and high ranking, but the lives of the raccoons weren't interesting at all, contra the main premise. They literally do nothing but scheming and pranking.
ef: a tale of memories (TV) Very good Inspirational, moving, touching. Fell short of masterpiece due to useless gimmick imagery and disconnected main stories. Warning: has sex (but a happy one).
Elf Princess Rane (OAV) Not really good This runaway comedy could not run away with humor even with the help of runaway tobogan in gondolas.
Encouragement of Climb (TV) Decent Yet another anime murdered by 2-minute format, but spawned an outstanding sequel with 15-minute episodes.
Encouragement of Climb Second Season (TV) Good The iyashikei power of this magniture did not appear since original Aria.
Eromanga Sensei (TV) Very good If one can get through the premise, the story is better than expected. The cripple is working to get over herself in a compelling way.
Excel Saga (TV) So-so Was one of favourites, but did not age well. It turned out that I do not like the inbred and self-referential humor after all. And there was nothing else in it.
Fairy Musketeers (TV) Decent Surprisingly creepy and brutal for a children's cartoon.
Fate/stay night (TV) Very good Tragic love, I eat that stuff up. The battle royale problem was muted, and only "bad" guys died, so it's acceptable. Nice pace, I could not put it down.
Fighting Fairy Girl Rescue Me Mave-chan (OAV) Decent Needs a second edition, XX rated. Rei stays, which is a cop-out.
Figure 17 (TV) Very good Not as gory as I was expecting, but the story is that of mortal danger and 10-year-old coping with it. Not a light viewing.
First Squad - The Moment Of Truth (OAV) Weak Russians degenerate each time their empire falls.
Flying Phantom Ship (movie) Good 1969 was a good year (outside of the U.S.).
Fruits Basket (TV 1/2001) Good Toru is shown the limits of her power, fails to recognize them. And then it all just ends.
Futakoi (TV) Decent First half is dumb; drama starts late; ending resolves little. But it could be worse.
Futari wa Pretty Cure Max Heart (TV) Decent Classic. V.slow to develop; slice-of-life dominates.
GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class (TV) Very good Very funny, sunny, better than Hidamari. Everyone in the cast is lovable.
Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight! (TV) Masterpiece Strongest, brightest, most wholesome, most live characters in years. Sharply told story.
Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet (TV) Decent Even if you have no marketable skills, you can find love with an underage exotic dancer.
Ghost in the Shell (movie) Very good More symbols than in Akira (see Kaedrin's review w/ tree of life).
Ginban Kaleidoscope (TV) Good A surprisingly solid love story from the 90s. Even has a real ending!
Girls und Panzer (TV) Good I can see the qualities that made Garupan such a runaway success, but the artificial world and the invincible main character ruin my enjoyment. Still, better than Strike Witches.
Gundam Build Fighters (TV) Very good The most gundamest of all gundams, an honest anime for boys of all ages.
Gurren Lagann (TV) Masterpiece Wonderful characters, including the 2nd echelon. Great art (just a shade simplified for 2008). Strong, engaging writing and plot. The finale buries the ghost of "GAINAX Ending".
GYO: Tokyo Fish Attack (OAV) Weak The debut of Ufotable was not glorious. Dumb and holey plot, characters are unnecessarily bad, and the main villain is a mad scientist.
Haibane Renmei (TV) Masterpiece Best storytelling; Sento Chihirono of series.
Hanamaru Kindergarten (TV) Good Cuteblobs drive the show.
Hanaukyo Maid Team: La Verite (TV) Decent Good story (samurai story in drag), sharper animation (a whole generation jump actually), far and far away more solid and professional remake. Yet somehow it loses some of the simple charm of the original. Triplets suffered the most, I cry for them. Also, raging lesbians were overdone.
Hanaukyo Maid-tai (TV) Good Animation from 1990s, poor video transfer from VHS, yet somehow beautiful and cute character designs. Lively and expressive facial distortions, unsurpassed in the remake. However, allergy to women was a bad mistake (rectified in the remake).
Hanaukyo Maid-tai OAV Good They should've done a real extension and concluded the story instead of doing 3 episodes of pure filler. Still, ep.14 was nice.
Honey and Clover (TV) So-so Not a bad anime, but hate the messaging.
Honey and Clover II (TV) So-so Hugely overrated, has questionable themes. The crazy brother drags the show to the bottom, purely through the fault of disagreeable artistic vision by the anime director.
Hotarubi no Mori e (movie) Decent Story is too thin, barely enough for a movie. Would be a phenomenal diploma work for an animator like Mamoru Oshii.
Humanity Has Declined (TV) Good Hitchhiker's style social satire, told in a competent way.
HYOUKA (TV) Good Very good character development in both meanings, using silly mysteries as a vehicle. Excellent animation. They squeezed everything from the unfinished source -- as much as Mahoraba did.
I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying (TV) Very good The character comedy is so strong, it cannot even be ruined by the otaku references and thematic concerns.
Ichigeki Sacchu!! HoiHoi-san (special) So-so Omits too much, should learn from YKK and Strike Witches OAVs. SW has a story, Hoi-hoi San doesn't.
(The) IDOLM@STER (TV) Good Masterful balance between characters. Just the right amount of drama and romance. Dance numbers please the eye. Sucks to be Yukiho though, even before the blatant shipping with Makoto.
(The) IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls (TV) Good Not progressing beyond the original at all. Some good characters (Rin, Miku), but most are deadweights, dragging the series down on average.
(The) IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls (TV 2) Decent More of the same.
iDOLM@STER: Live For You! (OAV) Not really good Poorly made, basically quick flashes of ugly fanart for everyone, no story worthy notice.
Indian Summer (OAV) Decent Amusing vignettes from android life.
Infinite Stratos (TV) Good Live and warm harem comedy, a 2011 throwback into fun days of when anime was entertaining.
Initial D (TV) Excellent Exciting story in line with shonen and sports anime, but set in a very real world. Engaging characters. Even heartbreak! Endearing obsolete animation from the 90s.
Initial D: Fourth Stage (TV) Good It's the Inidial D, and it's better and badasser than ever! Massive rewatch for 06, 21-26. Practically as good as the original.
Initial D: Second Stage (TV) Good It's the Inidial D, The Sequel! Loses some charm of the original character design; in fact it's quite ugly and low-budget. Serves to advance the story.
Initial D: Third Stage (movie) Good It's the Inidial D, and its necessary bridge. Or maybe not as necessary, unless you want to know how Natsuki handles her relationship.
Interviews with Monster Girls (TV) Good Dullahan is a dumb concept. Unsurprisingly, the story does not finish.
Isekai Quartet (TV) Good
Joshiraku (TV) Very good For serious weaboos only. Excellent Tokyo travelogue and great banter.
Jubei-Chan 2: The Counterattack of Siberia Yagyu (TV) Decent Lots of good action, bearable angstiness, but the plot was ruined by poor ret-con with the original.
Jubei-Chan The Ninja Girl - Secret of the Lovely Eyepatch (TV) Good "Want to See"
K-ON! (TV) Good Very nice. Not Manabi Straight, but works.
K-ON!! (TV 2) Good A conservative, big-budget, twice longer, money machine made out of the original. Too constrained by the absolute rule not to break a good thing.
Kamichu! (TV) Very good Story is extremely slow and watered down. Animation is often sketchy, despite lofty pretentions elsewhere. A creepiest character design in a long time is provided by Miko Saegusa. Yurie is lovely. Comedy is good and saves the show.
Kämpfer (TV) Good Main story is unfinished and not going to be finished. Nothing is explained.
Kanon (TV 2/2006) Excellent "A modern fairy tale" -- Tappan. Just as amazing as critics said. Stories meshed perfectly in the anime continuity.
Katanagatari (TV) Excellent The most wonderful period piece since Oh Edo Rocket
(The) Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior (TV) Decent The unfinished source hamstrings the story severily, but, seeing what manga is doing thereafter, it's may be for the best. Cute animation. Don't fall in love with Mayumi!
Kill Me Baby (TV) Not really good Pathetically weak comedy, only one episode was watcheable (with the assasin doubles).
Knights of Sidonia (TV) Decent 3D
Knights of Sidonia: Battle for Planet Nine (TV) Decent More 3D. Action. Manga ongoing. Thematic concerns low.
Kokoro Library (TV) Weak Incest, lolicon, and lesbians in one convenient package. Very thin story.
KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!! (TV) Decent
Kurogane Communication (TV) So-so Nice, but nothing too special. Yui Horie's breakout.
Laid-Back Camp (TV) Good A very comfy, iyashikei series, even if you hate camping in the cold (although... no bugs). Nadesico is not as annoying as she seems.
Last Exile (TV) Decent GONZO at its worst: cannot complete a story even in the mega-budget 10-year anniversary production. Goes strong until the finale when creators pee it down their leg.
Locodol (TV) Good In the recent raft of idol anime, this is by far the least ambitious. But it's a nice diversion from world-in-balance struggles.
Love Live! School idol project (TV) Good It's a strong entry into the idol anime category, taking the fight to the Idolmaster supremacy in all media. If not for the overdone juvenile drama, could be a dominant winner.
Love Live! Sunshine!! (TV) So-so More of the same, all the cast is new. This literally adds nothing to the original.
Lucky Star (TV) Good The anime rides on in-references, but it's getting better over time. The change of directors helped, evidently. Ep.11,23 are good.
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (TV) Bad Almost made me quit anime altogether. I wish Fate jumped into the abyss after her mother.
Magical Play (ONA) Decent Not any better than the companion 1-episode 3D video.
Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi (TV) Good Beautiful in its nostalgy slideshow ED, karaokable lyrics.
Magikano (TV) Decent Healthiest, most beautiful girls in the first half. Second half is a total waste.
Mahoraba ~Heartful days~ (TV) Excellent So much heart. Makes the mental disease look cute.
Maria Watches Over Us (TV) Not really good Nasty art, nasty music, overblown emo for no good reason, yuri in ep.10. Some life lessons for little girls.
Martian Successor Nadesico (TV) Good True pseudo-classic (1996). OK, so the plot is holey like hell, but so what... Alas, seems sagging midway after the harem settles in. I consider the ending adequate, the main story was finished.
Masamune-kun's Revenge (TV) So-so Too much cringe, unattractive characters.
(The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV) Good Kyon is no rebel. Ryouko is.
Memories (movie) Very good The Canon City segment was my favourite, but it's hardly an anime. The art reminds of "Pilot Brothers" and other Russian animation. See "Triplets From Billeuve" for an example. The Magnetic Rose was very solid. The Stink Bomb pumped the bedlam appropriately, but it's just not my bag.
Midori Days (TV) Very good The concept works for 4 episodes, and then what? Historical interest: animation of Ayase was revolutionary.
Millennium Actress (movie) Very good A wonderful example of an artsy movie. No rewatch value.
Mitsudomoe (TV) Decent Not as pedo as everyone thought, but still quite pedo. And the main character has to struggle with the chaos while preventing it from unravelling into KnJ.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team (OAV) Very good The futility of sacrifice was nicely played. Love makes a woman stronger, ditto. And Norris is badass, even if futile. Extra ep.12 was garbage.
Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun (TV) Very good Very funny throughout the run, but everyone loves different parts.
Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit (TV) Very good Straight as arrow, competently made, series with a broad appeal to the non-otaku.
My Neighbor Totoro (movie) Very good Children's world, 1950s or 60s in rural Japan.
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU (TV) Decent Iroha is one of my most hated character archetypes.
Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow Very good A rare case of series-based movie which does not suck.
Natsu no Arashi! (TV) Very good Shinbo cannot decide if it is Diet Grave-of-Fireflies or Working with magic hijinks. Story starts to come together then ends abrubtly like Patlabor.
Natsuiro no Sunadokei (OAV) Good Surprisingly decent for 2-episode OVA. Naturally, it's quite compressed.
New Game! (TV) Very good If one suspends questions about the make-up of the company's workforce, this has some good workplace storytelling. Not as compelling as Shirobako, but quite good in absolute terms.
Nichijou - My Ordinary Life (TV) Good Mad swings between astonishing brilliance and stupid, and it is up to the viewer to decide which is which. See Nano in ep.14.
NieA_7 (TV) Not really good The very definition of awful animation, weak or non-existent story.
Ninja Nonsense (TV) Good Girls please the eye very much. Comedy, laughs. Yes, Onsokomaru is pervert, but everything is done so nicely.
Nodame Cantabile (TV) Excellent Quality art, quality story about people who happen to study classical music.
Nodame Cantabile (live-action TV drama) Good Strange violence mars the impression.
Oh! Edo Rocket (TV) Excellent Whimsical and offbeat. The portrayal of life in Long Houses was precious. Strong story from beginning to end. Villains were believable, human, and just emphatical enough not to let us root for them.
One Punch Man (TV) Good The only anime ever that I watched for the fights.
Overlord (TV) Good
Overlord II (TV) Decent
Patlabor The Mobile Police (OAV 1/1988) Very good This is how anime is supposed to be. Unfortunately, it's episodic.
Please tell me! Galko-chan (TV) Very good The gal with a heart of gold has become such a stereotype, and yet Galko-chan towers over the field of also-runs. The supporting characters do a great job as well.
Pokémon: Mewtwo Returns (special) Not really good So, in the end everything is reset? Way to sustain continuity.
Polar Bear's Café (TV) So-so Way oversold intelligenzia show where everyone is a jerk, but can be funny at times.
Porco Rosso (movie) Excellent Movie level animation (duh). The story of survivor's guilt was well done.
Pupipō! (TV) Very good Only 2 normal episodes worth of content in 2-minute episodes, but what a plot twist. Ramps up quickly and never lets go.
RahXephon (TV) Good Great tragedy, better Eva than Eva, and a love story that forms the backbone of the story. Everyone dies. But then a world reset happens.
Ramen Fighter Miki (TV) Very good No story, no tsundere, no mecha... only pure comedy gold.
Read or Die (OAV) Weak The Bond theme ensnared me, but the promise was hollow. The only saving grace is the tragic and self-redeeming character of Nancy. But she's not the protagonist of the story, and the rest was rather trashy.
Recovery of an MMO Junkie (TV) Very good Hard to find a better romance than this, although the convenient coincidences require a certain suspension.
ReLIFE (TV) Excellent Surprisingly strong for an unfinished story, although mostly builds for a grand finale, where the tour de force of anime direction occurs in the reverse flashback sequence.
ReLIFE: Final Arc (OAV) Very good They managed to compact 2 times as much manga into 4 times fewer screen time, but it works.
Rocket Girls (TV) Good Wonderful story, sympathetic characters. Awful production values, animation. The 3D in first episodes was among the worst I have ever seen. Dozens of unforced errors in 2D. Characters deform all the time and do not look like themselves. The story kept me watching, but the execution cries for a remake by Ufotable or KyotoAni.
Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers (TV) Decent A mystery novel anime.
Royal Space Force - The Wings of Honnêamise (movie) Good Director pulled an Anno at us, did not know how to complete the story. Watch for pure artistry. Joy of flying segment thrown in as a disconnected bonus.
(The) Sacred Blacksmith (TV) Decent Story is unfinished, series end abrubtly.
Saga of Tanya the Evil (TV) Good Action, characters, humor. Kickass 1st episode draws viewer in. Unfinished.
Sakura Wars: The Movie Bad Glorification and whitewashing of brutal military dictatorship and its xenophobic society.
Samurai 7 (TV) Good Won't make Akira Kurosawa proud, but a good, solid fanfic. The idea of Jedi fails.
Seitokai Yakuindomo (TV) Decent Crass comedy show with moments of tenderness randomly inserted. Can be funny.
Sekirei (TV) Good Surprise of the 2008 Summer season. Mild fanservice, decent story, attractive characters (Tsukiumi, dump that loser Minato and be my wife).
Serial Experiments Lain (TV) So-so Causes nausea and retching presumably due to color key and flicker acting on the brain. Story needs a lot of explanations, which in turn need a lot of "I.D." type of postulates. Not dumb by a long shot, but rather disjoint and intentionally hallucinatory.
Shingu: Secret of the Stellar Wars (TV) Excellent The best work of Tatsuo Sato: impeccable writing and direction. OP is controversial.
Shirobako (TV) Masterpiece Not only it's a duty anime that everyone who loves anime must watch with no excuses, but it is also outstanding in every aspect (story, characters, art and animation). Paifuly real many times, even if you know that a good end is guaranteed.
Shrine of the Morning Mist (TV) Good Cried for the little pair. They gave it all for this anime.
Silver Spoon (TV) Excellent The Moyashimon we were denied. The love story. Nodame, look out!
Sketchbook ~full color'S~ (TV) Very good Very pastel. Not as powerful as GA:GADC, but has its place as a relaxation material.
Someday's Dreamers (TV) Very good Competent storytelling. The orwellian government was scary.
Sound! Euphonium (TV) So-so Thematic concerns are significant. The plot is mostly about girls being broken by the stress. Would probably work as a movie where all characters are replaced by soldiers in Vietnam.
Spirited Away (movie) Masterpiece Miyazaki blossoms to his fullest when he stops hating and bashing.
Starship Operators (TV) Decent I cannot unhear Sanri's scream. But Truman? Please. Also, too much magical trickery in combat for Sci-Fi, convenient upgrades just in time.
Stella Women's Academy, High School Division Class C3 (TV) So-so The promise peed away. Yura's struggles with her own growth were okay, but not as interesting as the promise of the world-changing.
Stellvia (TV) Very good Genuine 26 episode story. Let down by symathetic portrayal of attempted murders. P.S., Rinna deserves her own series as much as Sasami does.
Stratos 4 (TV) Good Airplanes were awesome. Story - solid. Girls - healthy.
Strawberry Marshmallow (TV) Decent Forced acting, artificial setting, clumsy messaging. Good humor, nice computerized art.
Strike Witches (OAV) Very good Preposterous... As someone said, more of "heroic poetry" than a coherent story. Yet highly amusing.
(The) Super Dimension Fortress Macross (TV) Good The classic from bygone era that aged much better than most, even if Minmay is a stupid piece of... well.
Survival Game Club! (TV)
Tamako Love Story (movie) Decent Indeed this is better than the TV series. Much more purposeful. The parrot plays no role, thankfully.
Tenchi Muyo! (OAV 1/1992) Very good This is how the classic anime was back then. Plus, Funaho FTW.
Tentai Senshi Sunred (TV) Excellent Zany comedy that takes a certain eye. Poor production values. Kayoko Uchida knocked my socks off.
Tentai Senshi Sunred (TV 2) Decent The jokes are getting repetitive. New season adds nothing to the original.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (TV) Decent As boring as everyone says. Amazing, considering how dynamic the source is.
To Heart (TV) Good Wholesome. Shiho is pure love despite her show-business aspirations. Do not miss DVD extras!
Toradora! (TV) Very good A well played school romance flick, but the middle drags. Ending is not sudden, but you have to watch for it.
(The) Tower of Druaga: The Aegis of Uruk (TV) Good Quite a bit of filler, but not bad otherwise. Typically bad Gonzo's 3D. AHMEEEEEY!
(The) Tower of Druaga: the Sword of Uruk (TV) Not really good GONZO was running on empty before their bankrupcy when they made this.
Tsuredure Children (TV) Very good Great adaptation, although it dropped some of the best couples from the manga.
Vandread (TV) Very good Lots of problems (too magical, bad 3D, etc.), but a good story. I can see it being someone's favourite.
Vandread: The Second Stage (TV) So-so Goes good for a while, but the stupid yapping ruined the ending. Also, solving life's biggest problems by constipating hard enough.
Waiting in the Summer (TV) Very good Better than Toradora, the apex of high-school romance genre.
WATAMOTE (TV) Not really good The problem is, the protagonist is a very bad person, and that is the root of her troubles, not the inability to communicate.
Welcome to THE SPACE SHOW (movie) Decent Children's movie which does not talk down to them, while remaining a very children's movie. Extravaganza end-to-end.
Whisper of the Heart (movie) Very good Almost as good as Spirited Away. Almost.
Windy Tales (TV) Excellent If only there was a story...
Witch Hunter Robin (TV) Good American TV miniseries, only animated in Japan. Hardly an anime.
Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life (TV) Decent Very uneven, but has patches of brilliance, such as the collaboration with Idolmaster and Chihaya's birthday.
Wooser's Hand-to-Mouth Life: Awakening Arc (TV) Decent More Wooser means more flashes of inspiration. Miss Monochrome collab was really gripping.
World Conquest Zvezda Plot (TV) Good Neato absurdist, but then hurriedly wrapped up.
X (movie) Awful
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (OAV) Good The adaptation was too timid and constrained, with lots of copy-the-manga-for-no reason bits sticking out like bad hair. Short size hurt, lines were not touched upon (for example, the gun was no explained at all).
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou: Quiet Country Cafe (OAV) Decent
Yuki Yuna Is a Hero (TV) Decent Jinx: "In a frantic attempt to execute a heavy-weight plot, they forgot that show is about the girls. Togo is the only ch. developed, Yuna is the one we know the least about."
Yuyushiki (TV) Very good Animation tour de force of 2013, breaking completely new ground not seen in anime (and not just the transparent head, but everything including basic design, outlines, motion, and 3D integration). The CGDCT was passable. Second triangle worse than first was a neat trick.
