| K-ON! College (manga) | Not really good | Disappointingly inferior to the original manga, its antics feel meaningless and its setting in a college is meaningless. Humour is weaker than the series, characters irritatingly exactly the same. |

The incongruity of Mai-chan's happy-go-lucky demeanour and the ludicrously horrific nature of her situation is bizarre and harms reader immersion. That said, Mai-chan's Daily Life is hardy boring. |
