Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced that, starting with he 64th Annual Golden Globe Awards in 2007, a Golden Globe will be given out for "Best Animated Feature Film;” provided at least eight animated feature films meet the eligibility requirements. To be eligible for a Golden Globe, films must be released and screened for at least 7 days in Los Angeles during the year prior to the award ceremony.
