Makeup, probably - I cosplay, and people often tell me I look like a doll simply because of the amount of foundation and powder I'm wearing. It keeps the face from going blotchy in a camera flash, though. |

Sigh. Just because you are [insert nationality] here, does not mean that you were born there/have been there/or even speak the language.
I can't say anything on the behalf of the winner, but not every ethnic-looking person you see on the street is from whatever country, etc. It's possible she's Asian-American. I see no problem with her winning, her cosplay looks fine. |
