His work on the Inyusha Movies made the stories flow together with big action and suspense which kept them alive from start to finish. I bought the whole boxed set because they were so good when the boxed set was made. He will be missed. Condolences out to his family and friends.

RIP. A Ghibli member gone is a terrible loss.

He sure had a fulfilling life. Smile

I'm sad since he died before seeing his Japan rise again, though... but I bet he knew that his Country could make it even after the recent disaster.

May he rest in peace!

He made so many great Detective Conan movies. The ones he did, 6-14 were the better ones, in my opinion.

It will take a lot to fill his shoes, and he will be missed. Sad

RIP Ujiie. He had his hand in a lot of strong titles. But... uh, to the uninformed, he was not a member of Ghibli (it says that in tha article cleas as day) >_> and as far as him being an (executive) producer, tha most he probably did was finance tha films as part of a production committee.
