The one that really pops into my head right now would be Manabi Straight by Ridley Scott. Cute little girls who are actually high school students in a Cyberpunk Wasteland. Harrison Ford is the male teacher. Or just Harrison Ford voice overs. I might actually enjoy that. Never bothered watching the show past episode 1 and the Summer Special, but this movie would be a must see.
Any ideas equally as odd? |

Ohh, thought you meant strangest existing live-action adaptation, and I was going to post that trailer of the GeGeGe no Kitaro movie with Kitaro in his late teens... (Other than that?--Whatever it is, I dunno, Takahashi Miike hasn't directed it yet, and have a feeling his Yatterman movie was just the tip of the iceberg...) |
