When it comes to anime, these seem to be the standards -


0-150,000 - You're definitely getting cancelled.

151-250,000 - You better improve or else we're pulling the plug early.

251-350,000 - Below average. You need to do better or you won't last long term.

351-500,000 - Acceptable. You'll stay on the air for a while.

501-600,000 - Above average. Keep it up and you'll be with us for a long time.

601,000+ - Did we ever tell you we love you?


For comedy show standards, add 100,000 to everything.

since it is an OVa, the odds are that many peoiple have either seen the show already that wanted to, or else already own it (like me) thus the lower ratings.
