From the Star Wars motif of the "Coming Soon" page, I suspected it might be the legendarily-unlicenseable Legend of Galactic Heroes, but I guess the rights to that one are still priced astronomically high. Either that or Space Adventure Cobra.

Can anyone confirm whether they actually got the movies? From what I'm reading here they just say they got "more" which could just mean the OVA series or something. |

This is great, I've been looking for a legit copy of Martian Successor Nadesico for some time now. I really love that Right Stuf and Discotek are giving me a chance to pick up these series that I didn't know about or sat on.

That would have been awesome! However, none of these license rescues are must-buys for me. I have the original Gasaraki and Nadesico boxes already, and see no need to double dip. Besides that, I see those two titles all the time in used bins. I have to wonder at the thinking involved in these particular license rescues. Utena was a major coup, since it was nearly impossible to find. Nadesico and Gasaraki? not so much. |

How good was that BD release, do you know?
According to this video at about 9:45, they have both (they say "the rest) and they will include both dubs and remaster the A/V. They're doing the same for Flash and Nadesico. I may double dip on my Flash and Nadesico and I'm definitely getting the movies and ovas. Holy crap, I'm buying TRSI releases. And I'm overjoyed about it! I'm surprised about Gasaraki. I have the original ADV set and while I liked the show, I'm surprised that Nozomi thinks there are enough people out there who will buy it. I've got Nadesico too and that didn't surprise me as much - it still has a following thanks in part to Ruri.
