Holy crap there are some real good deals there! so out of curiosity how well of a condition are these products? i mean is there a good chance I'll see some damage on the casing or something like that? and is there stuff pretty legit as in no bootlegs? sorry to ask some negative questions but I never shopped there.

I've ordered from Deep Discount many times, they are completely legit and sell brand-new, excellent product and I guess DVDPlanet is somehow associated with them.

Thanks for the tip Spastic Minnow, I'm really thinking about attacking those deals lol.

oh yeah Looks like Borders is having one of them going out of Business sales where everything is up to 40% off. I'm assuming that this is only in stores and not online. Anyways I'm really sad to see this company go, This'll really slow my purchases when it comes to buying manga now.

I've never gotten any damaged discs from DD, but their packaging isn't as good as TRSI.

One thing though, I have had some problems with their website acting up. Maybe this is because I often place my orders at 3-4 AM, but one time I had so many problems I ended up with a duplicate order. I tried to cancel it but they processed it too fast so I ended up with two copies of a rather expensive item. It was around Xmas and my brain fell out about returning it in time, so I still have 2 copies of the Mel Brooks Collection BD.

I don't know if anyone has been looking for it, but Rightstuf (shawnek) has the Honneamise Freedom blu ray set on sale for $174 on his amazon store page. Seemed like a pretty good deal, but there is only 1.

"MJW" over at blu-ray.com found a $5 off coupon for DeepDiscount on Facebook, but it isn't going to last long (noon tomorrow CST).

Code: WERHERE5

Combined with the current anime sale, you should be able to find a very good deal on something.

When did DD sneak in that $15 minimum for free shipping? That's relatively new.

They used to offer free shipping in the US on all orders.

Have there really been no deals for the longest time? Then again, anime and manga deals are hard to come by in the first place.

I looked on Amazon and some of their prices for some select Funimation titles are better than the TRSI sale with Got Anime? membership.

Fry's is currently having a buy one get one 50% off on select Funimation titles.

Not sure if the website has the list, bit I know that the new release of Full Metal Panic: TSR was not included.

In order to take advantage of the sale you have to buy 2 items on the list in order for it to work.

Here are some starting point for possible deals. If a product is unavailable, you won't be able to complete the order (for shipping). It's unclear when the B1, Get 1 half promo will last. Free S/H at the moment is effective as well. Sales tax is applicable for AZ, CA, GA, IN, IL, TN, TX , NV, and WA residents.

DeepDiscount is doing their semi-annual sale with a large number of titles at an additional 25% off. Use coupon code 25MORE. The item has to show the graphic to be included in the sale. I only went through the Blu-rays and found several Sentai and Media Blasters anime titles available with the sale price being less than what it would be at TRSI pn a 40% publisher sale with GotAnime. Sale runs until 11/20/2011.

Fry's is having another buy 1 get one at 50% off on Section 23 titles.
As usual the item has to be of equal or less value.

The sale runs until 11/30/11.

BTW Target, Best Buy, & Fry's (and probably a few others) are all opening for Black Friday at Midnight.

This is very similar to a previous stunt by CompUSA that did the same thing about 4-5 years ago, and of course I just happened to be working there at the time, and boy was that a mess! The next day it was really quiet and I'm not sure why I was even needed.
