I remember a long time ago there was a Legend of Zelda cartoon shown as part of a "Super Mario" show hosted by a real life Super Mario. Does anyone know if this was a Japanese show brought over? If so is there any more information available on it?

Nope... the company that produced it was Sei Young Animation Co., a Korean studio that was formed in the late 80s. They did the Super Mario Bros animation as well as Phantom 2040, but nothing else from what I can find out on the net. So, no, it isn't anime. Oh, and the "real life" Super Mario was "Captain Lou" Albano.. quite a character. He is apparently still alive, although getting pretty old. Danny Wells (Luigi) is still around too... :) |

Thank you, I'd been wondering about that for awhile. I remember it being quite good. 'Course I remember Gobots being good too....
