I'll let this image express my disgust at this concept:

Why would you be disgusted over this for?? Do you have something against English dub, because anime in Japanese had some share of bad voiceover and English speaking fans don't know if the voice acting is good or bad. Can you tell if Japanese voice is good or not. Here watch this, then after watching that video read this article. Then tell me, did the Japanese dub of Modern Warfare 2 sound better then the English voice.

English dubs targeted at an Asian audience are always quality. Rolling Eyes

Singaporean sub and dub had a not-so-proud-of history. If you don't know about the "big tree" of Initial D, find a movie called I Not Stupid.

It saddens me this gets a dub, yet not Battle Spirits or Cardliver. Cardfight Vanguard is probably the most boring card anime I've seen, mainly because it doesn't involve saving the world with cards (or maybe it does, I only saw like the first 8 or so episodes... but it was more normal and treated it like an actual sport... the kids had to use their imagination to picture the cards fighting even)

Well, maybe not, since it's Singapore and not America, but still.[/i]

I just had an awful flashback. I swear all I can recall from the one episode I watch is the show starting, my eyes glazing over and then this appearing on the screen:

I've seen some English dubs from Asia that have been better than the American counterparts. Yes, of course, there are rotten apples in any orchard (e.g. Odex), but unless you've seen the majority of them it's quite unfair to generalize. Good on Bushiroad to try at least.

Exactly. I'd rather watch Iron Man and Wolverine on G4.

at first they do use there imagination but lately they have been using holograms like Yu-gi-oh! but the fact that they don't involve saving the world with cards to me is great since we already have far to many of those already <_<
