Well, she certainly has the build for it. So I guess this will be a combination of Air Master and The IDOLM@STER?

I suppose the opponent of this one should be damn lucky pinning the shoulders is often done from the back and not the front.

I must say, it looks awful. One look at the manga, and I know that I'm passing.

"I wanting strengthen most in the worlds."

Quit using online translation engines, Editor-san.

UPDATE: the sixth seiyū in the drama CD is 杏花; I'm not sure if I should romanize her name as "Kyouka" or "Kyōka". And I've got problem confirming the name of the Japanese publisher. Rolling Eyes

I love the art from that page. Hopefully the animation can keep up.

As a wrestling fan I suppose I have to catch a few episodes of this at least. How exactly is it getting a tv anime with so little material?

On one of my channels at YouTube I uploaded a video from Nico Nico Douga posted by a "Drederick Tatum" (ドレドリック・テイタム さん; undoubtedly a Simpsons reference) which skillfully blends scenes from the Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai! (I Want to be the Strongest in the World!) manga with dialogue from a Sekai de Ichiban Tsuyoku Naritai! voice drama CD released earlier this year with the June 2011 issue of the Monthly Comic Earth Star manga magazine, featuring Aki Toyosaki as Sakura Hagiwara, Youko Hikasa as Erena Miyazawa, Rie Tanaka as Rio Kazama, and Japanese professional wrestling commentator Yoshinari Tsuji as the announcer.

Usually I make my own videos I upload on my YouTube channels, but this is one of the rare exceptions.

It remains the only video I have uploaded which has been taken off YouTube:

"This video has been removed as a violation of YouTube's policy on nudity or sexual content. Sorry about that."

There is no nudity in the video.

Kazama (Rie Tanaka) delighting in inflicting pain and suffering to Sakura (Aki Toyosaki) screaming in agony - and exposing her in the most humilating and degrading positions - in a pro wrestling match while an excited announcer (Yoshinari Tsuji), a cheering audience, and a worried Erena (Youko Hikasa) look on proved to be too much for YouTube, I guess.

There are a lot of prudish people on youtube who are eager to flag videos and it's guaranteed youtube will err on the side of being conservative. Of course, the problem is really youtube's policy, which is in total contrast to other sites like http://www.dailymotion.com

ESE and Kiyohito Natsuki's story of idol singer who becomes female pro wrestler
While we're pointing out grammatical lapses, shall we say, I believe that an article ("a") is needed after the word "becomes" in that sentence.

BTW I was sincerely hoping that the "Sorry about that" wasn't actually on the YouTube video removal page, but it is. That's a little too heavy-handed and crass for my tastes. What happened to "Don't be Evil"? Wink
