out of all the books, in the entire world, they chose this. it's either a) one of the greatest books ever or b) not 100% based off the book. I'm banking with b. I haven't read the book, am I certain it is a very good and enjoyable book, but I am pretty damn sure they decided to adapt it due to the Miyazaki film. With that, there's no way it would be adapted into live action without considering the Miyazaki adaptation, even a little bit. I would rather have Disney adapt other Japanese stories that aren't as well known. Ofcourse, that would be bad business. Disney is very much a business. So, here's hoping this will be good.
