The sales for Reborn look like crap. In the past it used to debut to over 300k copies. August 2010 had 330k copies sold, which is 100k more than it sells now.

Bleach actually used to sell pretty well. But it has had about a 33% reduction in sales or so. Vol. 40 for instance, sold almost 600k copies the first week.

Its great to see Bleach at number one in sales where it belongs..volume 52's art cover of Shūkurō Tsukishima is so stylish and badass looking..Kubo knows how to draw his characters so damn elegantly. I do believe this may be my favorite cover art I've seen in a long time..can't wait to own it!

Indeed, take that all those people who say Bleach is no longer popular.

Also on a related note..52..and were only on 36 in the U.S. Dag Nab it VIZ....give us a bloody Bleach Speed-Up already! 16 volume gap is to big! Evil or Very Mad

Yeah, that was the peak, profitably speaking. And arguably creatively.

End of 2008 sales - 3,161,825 (VOL. 32-36)
End of 2009 sales- 6,471,021 (105% increase) (VOL. 37-42)
End of 2010 sales- 5,204,193 (20% decrease) (VOL. 43-48)

The reason Kubo never draws backgrounds is because he's been too busy trying to build a time machine to 2009.

At least they're doing better than what we're getting here which is zip.

Which is sad, because it's one of the better shounen. Bleach and Naruto are cop-outs compared to it.

Cop-outs?Well that is simply your opinion of course..I personally believe that Reborn isn't even remotely close to being in Bleach and Naruto's league whatsoever and the sales this week reflect that.
