Sweet. Was searching for the full version of that song a couple days ago and was like "Why isn't there a PV out for this yet?" ;A;

I'm excited for the movie, but ... for the most part, I hope it just turns enough of a profit that they can make a series of films that DOES finish the story. I don't care if it follows the manga chapter-for-chapter or whatever, just CONCLUDE THE STORY, fer god's sakes! Laughing

Liked the song...liked the movie clips. Really hoping the trilogy gets a N.A. release (BD with English dub, s'il vous plait). Smile

Why? I love Puck, he gives a good portion of comedy.

Just saw the movie. Amazing. Not as much CG as the previews would lead to to believe. Direction (art-direction, music, pacing, etc) is great.

No Puck at all. (actually, most of the shots from the first few trailers were from a pilot film Studio 4.C made a few years ago ... and not from the actual movies at all. ... that's what it says in the movie pamphlet.)

well Puck comes after the golden age arc, although in the manga you can see him a bit with Rickert when the eclipse happens, where Griffith turns to Femto etc.

damn, I like the music and that voice too. With each clip I see, this is getting to be more and more of something I can't wait to buy. I'd love to have this trilogy on blu-ray. With the appearance of Nosferatu Zodd it looks as if its going to be a lot more violent than the first animated adaptation, which certainly didn't have enough time and budget to include that big ugly knuckle draggin' mofo Very Happy

for what it's worth, in the comic version, the elf character Puck is introduced here:
and "The Golden Age" arc begins near the end of Vol 3...

The first ten minutes show that they skip to the start of the Golden Age arc. Probably a good idea, in my opinion, though I admit there were a couple of clever points to the original structure.

Unfortunately some of the CG looks quite awkward, and will make the films seem even more dated in the future, but overall I think it still looks really good, and am pretty excited to see it. Fully animated fights are worth a bit of awkward CG for me. Plus there are other times when the CG looks rather excellent.
