Odd that Aki Toyosaki didn't face anywhere near the level of backlash that Hirano did. Perhaps it's in the way that Hirano reacted to the situation compared with Toyosaki? |

I just don't get the sex thing. I get that otaku are stereotypically lonely virgins who begrudge other people having something they don't, and I get that people might frown on her supposed promiscuity. I wouldn't know about the attention whore thing because I don't follow those kinds of gossip sites, but I'm sure it's a fair point. What I don't get is how any of this almost destroyed her career. She's a great-looking girl with a great voice. She can shag whoever she wants as long as she keeps voicing Haruhi Suzumiya so perfectly. People's work life and personal life shouldn't be taken as one, unless they're found to be rapists or murderers or suchlike, in which case I can't support them in any way. But banging a few guys? Good on the guys, I say.
