This seems promising. I think that it could have a really compelling, moody feel and good reason to reach into some deep, gut-wrenching tragedy. It could be very smart too.
I wonder how they chose the director. He's very experienced, but he seems like more a very reliable 'jobbing animator' than somebody to take the creative lead.

I kid, of course. He's worked on a some pretty good things. One would hope that he's learned plenty from those opportunities.

| This sounds like a MUCH better version of Fractale. I wonder if it'll have 26 episodes? It sounds interesting. |

The art reminded me of Hoshi o Ou Kodomo by Shinkai.

Do want. For some reason, the artwork looks similar to 5 cm per second, a movie that I really enjoyed. Hope the soundtrack, characters, and storyline will be good too  |

Interesting does anyone know if the novel been translated into english yet by the way how this for a live action idea Gunbusters and the Orguss series animes and has the live action of Akria fate been deceded.  |

I was thinking the same thing. Could be just my perception, but I'm seeing more and more storylines coming out lately that contain elements I tend to like (dark...moody...thought provoking). It will be very interesting to see how this turns out. |

Seems VERY promising.
But it will probably just fall into harem bullcrap and pander to Otaku and the like and then it'll suck, just like most modern anime.

Sounds extremely promising.
Plus scifi and adventure are usually my favorites so it sounds like hopefully my kind of show depending on what they are going for, as echoed by others in the thread already, they've got my attention since I really like A-1 Pictures and scifi/ambitious-sounding adventure shows.
I'm looking forward to seeing this. |
