I got an answer from Madman:
Quote:
The collection will fit 7 disc altogether which includes the movie and ova.

[EDIT: notation for Madman releases] - That means 5 collections for the TV series (DVD or Blu-ray) + The Sacred Star of Milos (DVD or Blu-ray) + OVA Collection (DVD or Blu-ray).

The second set of Gosick is slated for an August 2012 release. The series page lists the second set with a release date of August 1st. The listing and/or info may still be preliminary since the release link is currently not fully active, but you can still pre-order it.

That's cool. I think I'll just switch out the discs for the OVA versions when I get them. Does the Region A release of Sacred Star of Milos come in a bluray sized case?

The Scared Star of Milos combo release is Blu-ray sized (mainly because there is a DVD only release). The OVA combo release is the oddball size comparing to the previous FMA: B BD releases.

Thanks for that, and yes, that is totally oddball. Kind of reminds me of when Bandai would change the spines on their manga releases like 50 times (cough* Code Geass*). I'm just glad I can get a really nice artbox. Now I just hope it's a soft finish (like the Gunbuster Vs Diebuster bluray artbox), instead of Funimation's usual glossy/shiny artboxes. But this is really just me nitpicking here, it's just a personal preference of mine.

- Hey, you guys release Noitamina anime, right? Are you planning on releasing Wandering Son? I'd love so much if you did.

- We have looked at that one, Aidan - releasing it on DVD depends on a few factors, but we should have a definite answer soon.

Mine is quite nice. Recently preordered Part 2 as well.

Currently, I'm having a bit of trouble trying to enter the titles into the database at DVDAF. They say the one listed on the Siren Visual product page is too small. I think I will try and use that image since it's larger.

I'm getting close to buying a BD-player enabled laptop that will have a VLC player, giving me all region capability. When that happens, I'm gonna have a whole new appreciation for these non-R1 distrib threads.

Out of curiousity, what is the difference between an Australian M and MA rating?
