Inu Yasha: The Final Act is something I would pick up since it will be nice to complete my collection of the franchise.

^ Also, that Twitter mentions the Eva reprint as a "look out for announcements". That's PR speak for "yes, but we can't formally announce it yet". I'm REALLY excited for that! I'm wondering if that means it'll be an omnibus format... I hope not, especially since it would look funny once vol 13 comes here. Either way, yay! Very Happy I don't have to worry about paying eBay prices for my missing volumes!

With the "no plans for more Pokemon Adventure", they sounded sort of wishy-washy with the "no plans" answer but with a "keep hope"... it sounds like an interpretation to "we might be doing it, but you'll have to wait on it".

Also from that Twitter:

Nausicaa to be rereleased as a deluxe edition. Two fat volumes including huge-ass book. Features entire story, deeper than movie inc poster

Box set, 2 hardcover books... I JUST finished buying them all last year... but this one (MSRP $60, assuming it'll be nicely priced on Rightstuf) I may have to double dip... Looked VERY nice (I was there, and they had a copy to show off).

My biggest disappointment of the panel? Well either than no new announcements, was that all the actual manga focus was on the digital... NOTHING (except a sale) was for the actual print... I know thye are trying to head in a digital direction, but don't JUST cover that!

It's $34.47 (43% off) @ Amazon.com.

The only thing I'd buy is Bleach, even though I'm way bored with Bleach, I'm buying One Piece from Funimation instead.

via UK Anime Network Twitter (Kazé UK Industry Panel @ MCM Expo) that shed a little of the Viz Media portion. EDIT: Berserk movie

- Kaze UK will start releasing these films from December 31st.
- First movie will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray, working towards a Collectors Edition as well.
- The first film will also get theatrical screenings in October (read: At Scotland Loves Anime!).
- Viz Media are probably trying to assemble a dub cast around the original TV anime dub, no official word on this yet however.
- These movies are effectively a reboot of the franchise which follows the manga, so should appeal to new viewers.
- The US cast from the TV series seem keen to reprise their roles for the dub of these movies.

WTF? The Blu-ray is $50 and yet the DVD is only $27. Why the hell is the Blu-ray almost double in price? =/
