| Wow for the first spotlight "NAKAIMO My little sister is among them!" looks generic as all hell. | |||

| Great, so it's Onegai Twins with better odds of not committing incest.
It's already not going to be Rinka, those characters almost never "win" in these shows. Especially if she speaks like an ojousama with all the watakushis and desuwas and has the "oh~hohoho" laugh. Yeah, they're perennial losers in anime aside from OtoBoku and possibly Ladies Versus Butlers. It can't be Mei, she has a witch's hat. That automatically disqualifies her. That narrows it down to the other three, or who so painfully nondescript that I don't care. |

| I'm not optimistic about the summer season. Although, on the bright side, that'll give me good reason to catch up on what I overlooked from winter and spring.
From the director of Kiss×sis and R-15 seems like the perfect tagline for NAKAIMO ~My little sister is among them!~. (Does somebody get paid by the punctuation mark for these titles?) This is one of those many cases where I can't seem to imagine myself in the head of somebody who would want to see a story like this. The mystery incest, or whatever it is, angle seems more appropriate as a punchline, probably not to a good joke, than an interesting narrative hook. Maybe they'll go for a potboiler thriller twist and have it turn out that he was his own sister the whole time. Something like Fight Club, but with incest instead of angry white males. But hey; it has a girl in a witch hat, so everything's copacetic. Syogo, eh? Interesting choice of spelling. Last edited by Surrender Artist on Sat Jun 23, 2012 7:47 pm; edited 1 time in total |

| I've been looking forward to these articles on ANN about the Summer season, if only to see the reactions. This is like the most otaku anime filled season in a long time, with very little for people who prefer more "Normal" anime. | |||

| I'm calling it now. Konoe will be his bride and Miyabi will be his sister. In fact, I'll put $10 on it.
I will give this show one episode to impress me. It's certainly not going to win me over on strength of plot or characters or originality, but the humour could be worth it . . . if it's actually funny, that is. |

| wow, looks kinda bland and predictable
although, looks like the kinda series you can just watch weekly and give a 4/5 and move on, not necessarily saying its a great series that you rave about but the kinda thing you can just watch once and move on with |

| I'm curious... Was the choice to romanize his name as Syogo instead of Shogo due to something on the Japanese end? Because otherwise it's a tad bit odd.
Spelling aside... Meh. "Imouto appeal" has zero effect on me, harem even less so. Sadly, the concept of a guy desperately trying to avoid getting together with his sister sounds like it could actually be an amusing concept in the right hands - but I highly doubt these are the right hands. Nonetheless, looking forward to see whatever else pops up on the spotlight. I'm entirely in the dark about the upcoming season. |

Hopefully people who only watch casual stuff will lose interest and leave, leaving the true anime fans. |

If I'm not mistaken, Go Zappa actually wrote a novelisation for Onegai Twins. |

I love the categorizing. It's so true.
But Takahiro Sakurai's getting jobs again! Splendid! |

Considering it's clearly written as Syogo on the PV during the character introductions, I'd say it's completely on the Japanese side. ![]() |
