Anyone else think it's ironic that JManga would be giving away an iPad, when the site does not actually work on an iPad?
Hopefully, this augurs the release of a JManga app for iPad in the immediate future. Personally, I've been holding off on subscribing to JManga until just such an announcement… I've got a long list of stuff to buy from them, once they're liberated from the PC. |

When you put it that way, it does seem likely they have something to announce that relates to the prize offered. Otherwise it would be a little silly. |

Anyway, I'm still hoping for some POD option for some titels, hope somebody asks it during the Q&A (if there is one to begin with...) |

They were talking about making an app this time last year, so there's some concern about whether it's really coming. Of course, if it's finally ready, then giving away an iPad as a prize makes perfect sense. |

Um...
Why is JManga doing a panel on the future of Digital Manga? Shouldn't Digital Manga be doing the panel on the future of Digital Manga. There is not even anyone from Digital Manga on the panel unless of course they worked for them on a freelance basis. Or did I miss a major story where JManga bought Digital Manga? If not, then this is like having Yen Press do a panel on the future of FUNimation. It makes no sense to me. |
