I get a kick out of how Viz allows bathtub and sex scenes in the Shoujo Beat yet they edit the hell out of the Shonen Jump.

Of course... We all know boys are overly perverted and would jump all over even the meerest hint of nudity... But girls are different...

I just had to say that after reading your comment... Really I just think it's funny. Then again I'm quite old enough to see the real thing and I also read both Shonen and Shoujo manga... So I'm just odd... Wink

But wouldn't Viz want to put unedited manga in Shonen Jump to get more sales? O.O

No, because parents would flip out.

SJ is edited partly because SJ is insanely popular and thus must cater to a wider and more impressionable fanbase.
