Out of curiousity, what is the difference between an Australian M and MA rating?

ANNOUNCEMENT TIME!
Busy as always here at Siren HQ, but not busy enough to neglect some good news: BLACK ROCK SHOOTER coming to Region 4 via Siren Visual in September!

And yes, that's an opening tune by Hatsune Miku. Coming your way in September - pre-orders will be available soon and we're going to have some knock-out stuff heading out to a couple of lucky folk, too!

- Also are you looking into doing a 4-Disc BD & DVD Art Box for K-On Season 2, after the 2 discs collections have been released?

- It will be a 2 disc artbox for K-ON Season 2 part 2. Since the Collections will be released in dual DVD cases rather than single ones.

K-ON! Season 1 Blu-ray

K-ON!! (Season 2)

Note: series to be titled with two exclamation marks instead of one (like Sentai Filmworks). 2nd collection is planned to have an ender artbox to house Season 2.

I don't understand why CCS is sub-only, it was dubbed when Nelvana had the rights to it. Yes, the US got the horrible edited version, but it aired uncut in other English speaking places.

Madman even used to sell the DVDs before the license expired.

So we have an Italian release that's on BD, but it doesn't have English subs.

We have an Australian release that has English subs, but it's not on BD.

Oh, if only there was a way to combine both English subs and BD and not cost ~$240 before shipping!

It's released in two volumes with Vol.1 having a LE.

Any news if it will be released blue ray and with English subtitles? We're working on it, but nothing set in stone as yet. Watch this space.

sorry to bombard your announcement with more questions, but have you acquired the OVA as well? The rights to the OVA/pilot are owned by a separate company and it's unlikely that it will be included in this Region 4 release.
