I didn't know the Walkman brand still existed. Is it viable in Japan, even without the Miku tie-in?

It's still around, but they don't release new models/products as often as they used to. A shame, really, Walkmans are often good quality electronics. I guess it just isn't a trendy brand right now. |

Still, this is such a feat. To sell out in less than 6 hours.
Although I'm more than certain this will not happen if they're in America. The Walkman is seemingly dead in the Western world to me. |

Well there was the Sony Ericsson phones that were popular 4 years ago or so. They were walkman phones.
But gaaaaah. I was going to order one of those. I mangaged to get to the preorder site about half an hour after they stopped taking orders.
